Thank you for breakfast Sylvs......another coffee if I may!

I agree Starbucks are expensive but I do like their cakes and their frappacino's.

Granddaughter was all starstruck when we went in - there were some rugby players from the local team whom she recognised. I wouldn't have known them from a hole in the road (as my mother used to say!).

Apparently, members of the team are often in there................really???

I have just had han haccident. :(

I have broken an ornament :(

It was a very nice ornament :(

It was Chinese and belonged to my parents :(

I may be able to rescue it a little with some glue.....but 'twill never be the same again. :(

I shall slink off for a shower....... :(

I nearly cried looking at the museum link Perse.
It looks a wonderful place.
It was Mr Badger's Cafe that got me.
There is an image of the carol singers arriving at Mole's door from Wind in the Willows.
Grandad loved reading it my children.
He was also a member of the Port Sunlight Choral Society.
I have a cd of one of their Christmas recordings.
On it is Grandad reciting that chapter.
Quite emotional every time.
The choir came to sing at his funeral too.
It was Christmas time so they sang his favourite carol
-the Shepherds Farewell.
His siblings and his mother all were born near Ashburton in NZ too.

Wind in the Willows, a brilliant book. It was the first library book that I ever took out. Before anybody comments I was 8 years old at the time.

I didn't realise libraries had been going for such a long time Jonesey.

:-P

I hope you have returned it Jonesey. The fine might be a bit steep otherwise.

Ginny you have not been educated if you have not read it. Marvellous story and some good TV adaptions too.

Reserve it from the library when Jonesey takes it back. :-D :-D

I had a fall today up the stairs and landed full weight on both hands.

My arm and shoulder is hurting somewhat more than usual.

Strange thing is I do not know how I did it.

LK,

Look on the bright side, falling up the stairs is usually preferable and likely to cause less damage to you than if you fall down them.

Take more water with it next time.

Cyn,

:-P, :-P and thrice :-P
