This is incredible when I recall just how ill she has been. She will have help of course but at least she will be in her own home.

Are you casting nasturtiums about the size of my ears Cyn? I will have you know that they were once famously copied by Mr Spock, Dr Benjamin's cousin.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 15 Mar 2012 08:40

Really Jonesey?

There was me thinking that you were possbily related to a close friend of the famous Noddicus of Toylandia.

Still waiting to hear from the hospital. The Pre op assessment had closed before the consultant had finished. He has given up smoking and all the other smokers in the family have given up at the same time.He is fairly fit so not too worried there.

Jonesey Report 15 Mar 2012 19:43

I started the day by posting "Beware the ides of March"

I should have heeded my own warning as the message below has been showing since about 11:00am and still is appearing whenever I try to go to "My threads":

"Sorry

We are performing some essential maintenance on Genes Reunited, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Genes Reunited will be back very shortly

Thank you

The Genes Reunited Team"

I have been in email communication with the Genes technical team who have done their level best to convince me that it is my computer that is causing the problem. I have carried out their various instructions as to how to resolve the issue:

Clear your computer cache --- Done

Log out then log in again --- Done

Reboot your computer --- Done

But the problem still remains. Any suggestions anyone?

Gee

Gee Report 15 Mar 2012 20:13

How do you know I was Worksop today?....I was there the other day and will be there until April

They replaced the coal mines there, for treacle mines

Dea

Dea Report 15 Mar 2012 20:19

You told us you were going to be in Worksop Ginns !! :-D :-D

Good job you were not in the nearby place of Newark !!!

When I used to travel abroad with coach drivers from a Company in Worksop - they would be driving me around Madrid or somewhere and would suddenly be 'cut up' by someone driving badly and would utter - "Well there's another one from Newark" !!!!!

I eventually asked them how they could tell that the person was from Newark and it was explained to me that it was an anagram ! - work it out for yourself !!! :-D :-D
