Too tired to try and work it out...They say my tree is on there..With my wrong date of birth..!
But they wont let me access it...Even with my user name and password from Anc...Will catch up tomorrow...

Mundia are introducing boards and looking for volunteer moderators

Mundia We are currently looking for several Mundia users to help us by serving as hosts of our community forums (coming soon!). The forums will provide members a place where they can discuss their family tree, share tips & tricks, and discover whether people with the same surname might be part of their family tree. Volunteers would become board admins, keep an eye out for problems, and help keep the conversations rolling, in addition to sharing their knowledge of how Mundia works. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you today!

Im in and it tells me I should invite two family members...MY PARENTS..!

I am going to delete my tree from all these P**y sites..Fed up with it..Best all on paper anyway as I have made contact with the only rellies I wanted to ......In Thunder Bay...
Hope it lets me delete off this new Mundia site..

Sylvia I set a grandparent as me in all five trees because I'm not in any of my online trees.

Then you get the list of trees with how many relies are in each tree and the search button

I'm fixing to file a great big honking complaint with the data protection people in the UK, I think, about this site and Ancestry.

I don't know how they would possibly keep a lid on this online genealogy stuff, in terms of what individuals stick up, but it's high time they had a look at what the genealogy sites are doing with their own users' personal info.

Just found a tree on Mundia with one of my Mob ...( The Lost ONE)

and they guy has 277,347 other people in his tree -- it is asking if I want to add his tree on Mundia to mine -- which has I person --me


Very tempted just to confuse their whole system

I sign in using my ancestry signin and password

I get the profile page .... with my name in boxes,gender to be ticked, countyr I'm in, and a box to be ticked that I agree to Mundia's Terms of Use


Having done that, it tkaes me to the next page, which is the one I posted earlier

That's it ...... no search button



I've tried both the name in which my account has on ancestry, and my maiden name (which is on my tree) ... same thing happens with both of them


obviously I'm doing soemthing wrong!!

Having volunteered, I'm kicking myself. It takes multiple steps to get the info about what several of you guys sent me.

jax, that person is in 4 trees at mundia. I have to click through several steps now to find out whose ... and it's the slowest loading piece of crap I've seen this week.

None of the trees with that person is yours.

On to the next PM ...

FBG, your male person is in 3 trees. But you didn't tell me your username. I assume you aren't a mike. The other two usernames both start with A.

Silly, yours is in 4 trees, none of them is yours.


So that little problem seems to have been fixed ...


I'm still being told that I myself match with someone with a completely moronic name born in 1867. But I myself don't come up on a search, so I guess I fixed that too.

Sylvia, you still can't search?

First, just to get into the place, you have to allow all sorts of javascript.

In the top row of buttons is "Find People". That's the tree search function.
