Its pouring with rain here, and I have two kids to entertain, they are already arguing...... got another 4hrs yet !! LOL

These things happen. I have in the past 7 years had Freedserve. they sold out to Wanado who in turned sold out to Orange. That drove me up the wall as nothing was working right when they kept changing over.

I hope you get yourself sorted out sooner than later.

Marilyn Hi we have now got an overcast sky not looking good at all. I did the washing this morning all dry as I stuck it in the dryer instead of on the line.incase it rained.

My friend phoned me from Morrisons to see if I wanted any food. so I gave her a list and she has just brought the food to me so I dont have to go out now today

I think I must have had a brain storm this morning. I had listed my visit to the doctor for tomorow. then went to check the time for next tuesday when I have the Doctors again for blood tests. I had failed to make a note of it in my desk diary or my wall one then I realised I had forgotten to phone the hospital in Guilford for my scan results appointment so I did that it is on the same day as my blood test 14th one is in the morning the other in the afternoon. then I remembered I had to phone Goldsworth Care to arrange for a car to take me . talk about a divi thats me this morning I need food and a drink maybe my mind will work afterwards.

carnt stay up as late and have to get up early in the morning

What a day today.....my grandkids have just about driven me up the wall and around it millions of times over ....

Just had to have a soak in the bath to regain my sanity ...LOL

I think the kids needs to go back to school, they are bored out of their tiny minds .

Dont think I could ever go backwards .....I love my quiet time on my lappy and please myself when to put my telly on instead of the kids stuff !!

Now am I a moaning Minnie ??????? LOL

Hello everyone, have just been reading about your weekend away, would love to have seen you in the caravan and tents, hope it wasn't too cold at night.
bet you wont be camping again this year, the weather seems to be changing quickly, has been more like winter here today. quite cold and very strong winds, and now it is raining.
Had my last injection in my back today, scan next week, and 2 more weeks of radio therapy then scan for that.

Hello Jean, It's good to hear from you.
I hope your back is not to sore after your injection today. I have everything crossed for your scan. I bet you will be glad when the chemo is over though.
The weekend away was a bit of a dissapointment, with Stephen being absent, we did not manage to see a lot of the sights he had planned for us
But it could have been a blessing in disguise, we might have ended up
absolutely shattered, with all the climbing he had planned for us.
Don't believe what Rita said about me skinny dipping, just because I ended up looking like a shrivelled up prune, I did have my swimming costume on.
Well we do know that our Rita had a lovely time, with our driver,talking to him, so she tells us. lol
And I want to know how she ended up with holes in her land army socks, when she was sat down for so long, drinking cups of hot choclate.
I have to admit that Marilyns tent was lovely, but our caravan was super, with all mod cons included.
You will have to come on our next outing, as Stephen has promised to take us all out for a meal, and Marilyn is trying to get a show out of him.
Oh and thanks for the cuppa, just what the doctor ordered.

Jean glad to hear that lets hope you scan goes OK it is such a worry. I phoned the hospital and made my scan appiontment they gave me the same day I have the doctors for my second lot of blood test done 14th September the blood is done at 10.10 in the morning and the scan
results are at 3.20 st St Lukes Guildford. the only trouble is now I am having trouble booking the care car no one is available but she said a couple of the drivers are on holiday so she will aske them when they get back. I thanked her and said if you get no one by next Thursday would she let me know as I will have to asked the Doctor for transport to the hospital.

so I am on tender hooks now ?

Those holes could be months Lol I have had them since 1946/7you know I cannot send attachments I am not good at that. but I found a couple of phots (small ones )in my box this morning three acttually one in my Land-Army uniform with those socks on so I have put them in an envelope to send to Marilyn as she is the only one who's address I have. so I dont know if she will be able to email them to you girls but you will get a big belly laugh if she can.
I will post them tomorrow to her

Morning all.

It's horrible here, gales and torrential rain, I've got to go out in it later - meeting a friend.

Yesterday I didn't get the chance to switch the lappy on, spent all day looking for a junior school uniform to fit my 10 year old niece (great niece) who's taller than a 14 year old and takes a size 8 shoe. Nobody sells junior uniforms in that size.

By the time I caught up on things and made the dinner last night - I was shattered and fell asleep.

I'm going to have a read of the thread now to see what I missed.

Linda is still knitting for England in-between baby minding and going out for meals.

Yvonne is making loads of extra money with all the extra work she's doing.

Shelly is the only person on the planet who's isn't pleased that the kids are back at school.

Marilyn is on her way to twisting Stephen round her little finger ............just like she does with Pete.

Mo is on her way to Rita's house to deck her for saying she has a bum like a blue whale.

Jean only has another couple of weeks of treatment left and then we'll all be crossing everything for good results from the scans.

Rita is trying to get some photos to us, can't wait to see them.

Stephen is working out how much it's going to cost him for letting us down.

Can't see Liz, she must have gone on another thread and got lost.

No Pauline I did not say Mo had a butt like a whale the whale that was swiming behind her was a blue whale and a baby one and it looked as if it was Mo Butt.
Mo has not got a big butt. she has a small one.

Shelly is the first Mum I have heard who is not happy at the children returning to school. it is only the children who I have heard moan about going back to school.

I watched the WDYTYA last night it was the best one yet, what a great guy Hugh Quarshie is. he was really pleaased with all he found out about his ancestors it was a joy to watch if you missed it try and watch next time it comes on ? maybe this friday I will check the TV times.

Pauline I would not be too happy at seeing ME it will give you a good laugh. I dont even know if Marilyn will be able to let you see them.

the one of me on the bridge in London my hair has now started to go grey. not too bad but getting there.it has always been black my sister is grey now and 6 years younger than I am. but time is c atching up must be all this worry I have been having.

I saw sparks last night Linda was using steel knitting needles and they were working like the clappers. sparks were flying everywhere I thought I might have to call the fire brigade out. she did two sleeves and one front in an hour.

well off to have brekkie and get ready for the doctor's vampire to do her job.

I have my niece having chemo & radio this week only 45yrs, she's petrified and I have tried to tell her the machine's do all the work and you just lie there, and think of England !! then collapse in bed and get waited on by everyone .......She's going to loose her hair and that's her biggest fear, that I can understand , but as I told her this time next year she will have it all back, and will be fighting fit , I have to wait and see her later this week ...its heart breaking ,but we all have to give the best support we can give....don't we.?

Pauline you must be getting old ...Tut Tut ..falling asleep like we all do ..LOL

Marilyn, I think Rita meant that she sent you the photo in the post, not by email. The mailman should be bringing to you tomorrow I think. Pete will be able to put it on your lappy for you so you can send it to us.

Sorry to hear about your niece, life is so unfair isn't it? There seems to be so much cancer around these days. Makes me wonder if any of us will escape it.

I had four lots of blood taken this morning made me feel quite giddy. I was asked what happened when I had my last scan done as all my blood tests had gone funny(I think she ment like me ?)

I told her she was so angry with me. I was told all those symptons were Angina ones, and she made me promise to tell Mr Panda next week when I go for my scan results.. she said you should have told sister at the hospital at once and dont do that again. Oh dear I am in the dog house.

I am going to have a cup of tea now and sort my dinner out. see you later

Shelly I have had three emails this morning from friends and they said the same the WDYTYA was the best yet. it was due I am sure to the History that was shown in it and the Man his-self He seem to be so pleased at the outcome of his ancetors. his face when he looked at those photos of his Granfather and Great Grandfather was really nice to see.
He lives not far from my sister. a couple of streets away.

we had a thunder storm early on this afternoon I was pleased I was home and not out in it.
Also I had another biggie spider in here last night I was watching the WDYTYA and I thought I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. then ignored it till I saw it move again he moved very fast across the room pass the TV to behind my computer chair I lost him after that needless to say I did not go near the computer till this morning. so I dont know where he is hiding but I am watching everywhere I go. Lol
