Linda you need to go to Boots chemist they do a natural cough mixture Lemon and Honey and Blackcurrant and honey it is quiet cheap I am not allowed other types of cough mixture due to my tablets so I have to use this and I swear by it . my cough has gone in a couple of days (saying that I hope I dont get a cough. )
Pauline I dont know why you think someone like Stephen would go off with someone like that. a blonde I think he likes redheads. with a scottish accent. Lol I am pleased you said he was'nt wearing the skirt.
I emailed my son in Law this morning and asked him to shine my broomstick up as he has time on his hands (bless him ) I said I need to go somewhere and the broomstick was so dirty I bet he is having a laugh about that.
Marilyn your husband should not have to ask for a cuppa you should be there with a cuppa all the time
we still have lovely sunshine but it has started blowing out there.I went across to the chemist to re-order my medication and went into Waitrose to get some shopping I needed milk and bread was out of both. )so I walked a round looking for special offers didnt find any. then I had this idea a piece of Skate for my dinner my favourite fish. so I asked the fish monger to weight the smallest piece he had.. it came to £4.99 I said no thats too much just for me. so I had cod instead.which came to £1.62 a lovely bit and I had two small pieces of liver as well. came to 45 p. so I was happy I have two days dinner for £2.07.
I will have some Skate another time.

Help!
Can this wee Scotsman come in from the cold?
It's been SNOWING on Ben Nevis. Hope it stays there for a while longer before blowing about my part of the world.
At long last I'm back on line....what a hastle that was. 'Just leave it to us' they said, 'you don't have to do anything'
BIG JOKE!
They terminate my Broadband and then send me an Email to tell me what to do. If they had half a brain they would be dangerous. How they 'h' can I read an email without the connection?
Anyway....been missing my breakfast and all the gossip. I take it you all survived Skye? Have not heard any rumours of massed riots in the Glens.. or the Pubs....you must have behaved well.
Did hear about a Skinny Dipper...who was that I wonder?
Now where would you all like to go to dinner as way of an apology for letting you down.
I think I could push the boat out and treat you all to Fish and Chips wrapped in newspaper. Washed down with a big bottle of Irn Bru.
To 'h' with it lets blow the kids' Inheritance and go really wild.
We can start a real argument now....lets all choose a posh London Hotel or Restaurant....except Gordon Ramsays as I knew him and his family from years ago...his mum, Helen, is really nice but I don't really care for the others.
List what would be your idea of a real heavenly meal and a great wine to go with it. Served to you by the most handsome Waiters....what Nationality would you pick?.
Then we can all go to a West End Show. I hear the Chippendales are in town, but then that might cause palpitations for some of you...LOL. Do you think you could risk giving it a try?
Finish off the night with a Swim in the Fountains in Trafalgar Square...it's years since I did that.
ARE YOU UP FOR IT?
Stephen

Hello Stephen, good to see you back. We all need a kick up the backside to cheer us up a bit. I wouldn't mind going to the Ritz for afternoon tea,and then onto a show in the evening. I hold my hands up, it was I that was skinny dipping. It was flippin cold I can assure you. Rita could do nothing but laugh at me, a fat lot of good she was, when I turned blue with the cold. She mistook me for a blue dolphin. Marilyn turned all posh on us when she bought a bedouin tent with her, plus all her luxouries. I will wait to see what other suggestions the others come up with re the show. Will you be bringing Mrs Stephen with you. It would be interesting to see the poor woman who has to put up with a nutter. Still we are fine ones to talk arn't we, we are all nutters on here anyway. Oh by the way, I don't know about swimming in Trafalger Square, theres to many of the boys in blue around there now.

Mrs Stephen is only allowed out on Leap Year Day
And only if she has behaved for the previous FOUR years.
Poor lass has been with me since we were youngsters. We met at High School. She was 13 and I was much older being 15.
She has always known I was a wee bit of a nutter and that I have got much worse with age.
My wee Grand Daughters think I'm nuts as well. But they love me to bits....I think. It's a great excuse to play on the swings when I'm with them...but then I'd do that anyway, whether they were with me or not.
Looking forward to a great night out in London.

You are a tight ar*e Stephen, keeping the poor wifey indoors that long. My OH was not stupid, we got married in a leap year. But he hasn't got away with it, I make sure he remembers every year. I go around with placards round my neck, that say, it's our anniversary on February the 29th, but WE ARE going to celebrate on the 1st March. Huh he thought he was clever, but not as clever as me. We were only 17 and 19 when we got married.

well what a surprise this is I have logged off and all all afternoon I even started singing to my self
Tell me how am I suppose to live without you. Now that I have been loving you so long. How am I suppose to live without How am I suppose to carry on. When all that i'v been living for is gone.
( sorry that was the song I had when my husband died in 1989.)
Well lets start with this Stephen. glad your back on line.
I say we go to The Hilton Hotel in Park Lane They should have removed the scaffolding by now.they were doing it up waiting for us.. Then we can go and see the "Jersey Boys " show. If you like Rock and Roll.
The Fountain in Trafalgar Squre is a bit dirty now. lots of dog ends and bit thrown in by people who dont bother with the bins around there. It was a lot cleaner when I dancing in the fountain on VJ night.

This afternoon because you were not on here. I check back on my sister's husbands family tree. being as the Pope is due here tomorrow. I looked up my Brother in Law Pope in his family to find out more.
Pope Clement X (tenth ) He was Born in 1590 in Rome Papal State. He died in 1676 aged 86 in Rome Papal State. born Emilio Bonaventura Altieri. he came form Roman Nobility. I found a photo of him and 6 pages about him on the internet. My sister never mentioned he died 22nd July 1676 the agonies of Gout. he was 86 years old
There are two statue of him in Rome one in the square and the other just outside.
I found it all very interesting.

HELLO STEPHEN ....... Nice to have you back....all is forgiven .
I think Shelly ought to select the restaurant as I know she likes Pie & Mash !!
So we would have to go along with her as she is a fussy eater .....and we need her to translate all the lingo of cockney slang , mind you I do have my book of slang ,I could bring it with me ...
But on the other hand you wouldn't get good service in them places they just chuck the food at you ,and I love to be waited on like Mo says the Ritz sounds Fab.
Let me sleep on it....LOL
Don't fancy the swim........cant fit into my bikini anymore, I refuse point blank to wear a cossy because it makes me look old and I'm not ..
Anyway I'm off to my pit......had a funny old day today....

Tea,Coffee, Toast, Cereals, Grapefruit Segments, Fresh Orange Juice etc. Get tucked in to it. Morning all you Rock n Rollers. What a mis-spent youth you must have had! While you were all jiving in the local Palais de Dance I was most likely up a mountain somewhere or paddling a canoe off the West Coast, still never mind I can play catch up now. I'm sure you will all teach me the various moves. You never know we could start a revival of the Jive and finish up on Telly. What do you think of my gear....will I look the part? Wonder what the folk will think when we wander into some posh establishment for our meal.LOL. Now for the serious business...let's have your ideas down on paper. Where do we go. What do you fancy for a meal. Is it a West End Show or a night in the Palais? I could contact Boris and ask that the Trafalgar Square Fountains be cleaned up for our end of night paddle. He might join us...he's daft enough I think.
Have a good day ya all!

Morning Stephen and all Good to see you back here !! Not looking too bad here this morning. Have the twins at 8:30. It's going ok. We made masks yesterday, did bead threading and made cards too, as well as some sticking and drawing.. I had a walk pushing the double buggy to school, so exercise too. The cough is still annoying. But possibly not as bad. I had some covonia and it seems to help a little. Son and DIL came and shared a gammon joint with us and apple and blackbeery crumble after. I walked round the lake before dinner too.
Of to a copy group concert tonight so I might not get back today. The group does Queen and ELO so I'll lewt you know what it was like.
Have a good day

I cannot wait to see you dressed up like that Stephen I like the green socks as well. Mo and I can teach you the Twist and Jive and Rock and Roll if you have forgotten how to do it. I dont know if the others used to go dancing everynight like I did and I think Mo did.?
No we dress up for the Hotel meal and dressed in the Rock gear in a room booked for that. we dress first and you can follow us , we cannot allow a gentleman inn the same room while we girls dress for the dance.'.
then next day we can go off and enioy the show "Jersey Boys " or we could reverse and see The Jersey Boys first. they have all the songs and dancing in that show. go to the hotel have a good meal and then go dancing in the evening. I think I will order
Prawn Cocktail/ Melon
Roast Lamb .mince/sauce roast potato's and parsnips and sprouts/ or Chicken roast potato's sage and onion stuffing white cabbage and baked parsnips.
Dessert I will have. fresh fruit and cream.
Morning all hope you all have a good day.
Love Rita

I can Jive and Twist.....but I want Stephen to be my partner first , just so I can show you how good I am...LOL... then you can all share him one at a time though .....
Stephen you forgot your Brylcream oh.. is that how its spell't ???? forgotten I expect Mo or Rita will know ..
Got all my old records in the loft, but got quite a few tapes & CD's so I'm going to sort out the favorite ones and bring them with me .
Shelly will have to just bop because she's too young to jive & twist, or maybe she could put the records on as we dance .....OK Shelly ....or Not ..LOL
So now its down to choice of venue.........all waiting !!!!!!!
Thank you for the breakfast Stephen you have gone a bit over the top, but I like it >>LOL I think Boris would come for dinner but we would only end up talking politics and that would spoil everything .....so that's a no no..
Off out in the garden to practice my moves !!
