Maddie,
Please tell your distant relative, Auntie Mottie, that I offer my sincere apologies for my posting disappearing.
I had written my wee ditty and wanted to edit it and ....what an idiot.... I hit the delete by mistake....then I just could not be bothered doing it again. The postings are really good and I enjoyed reading a few of them.

(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Tea or Coffee
Porridge, Cereals, Fresh fruit Juices,Grapefruit Segments Brown bread toast, Scrambled Eggs, Grilled bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns etc.
A hearty breakfast to be taken at leisure.
Ceilidh dance tonight.....kilt and sporran coming out again. It's a Fund Raiser for the Samaritans, hope we raise a few bob for them. They do grand work. I had a group of them on a Canal Barge in the summer(?) followed by a barbeque.....great day out.
Remembrance Parade tomorrow. A time for reflection. The handshake and the eye contact from others that says, 'You and I know'....'We've been there' Others can only wonder and imagine.
The Last Post from the Bugle and the haunting lament 'Flowers of the Forest' from the Pipes. Real heart tuggers.
The Parade is led away from the Service by the Pipes and Drums playing a rousing tune called 'The Black Bear'....that puts a spring in your step.
Have a good day ya all !

Morning everyone i am another one who will be out all day today I have a conference at a local hotel, for childminders. Been there before and they put on a very nice meal so that is a bonus. No cooking today for me. Hubby will have to do his own dinner before he leaves for work at 1:00. He won't be home til close to midnight so that will be a day spent apart. Not usual for us.
Have a good day everyone.
I hope Jean has a restful weekend. How much longer is your treatment? Jean if you pm me your e-mail I can send the photos of Marilyn and I and my parents anniversary photos too, that is if you would like to see them.
Rita I hope your foot is easing with the tablets. Take care.
Linda :o) XxX

Shelly a black mark for doing that to Rita, nearly had a heart attack
It is not cold this morning .nor bright . the sky is so grey and it makes you feel depressed..never mind it could be worst
Hope you all are well. ? Jean have a good weekend.you have not mentioned how your treatment is going ?
I am going to do some of my christmas cards today. I think I had better. if I leave them to the last minute something will happened and they will not get done. .

Morning all.
It's seems OK outside, not really cold.
Shelly you little waster, if you'd been born when Marilyn was young, you would know better than to waste anything. And look how you gave Rita a fright, poor soul thought her computer was playing up.
Maddie, some people do find Auntie a bit strange, that's why she's never allowed out on her own.
Hmm, Linda's hubby is working till midnight, bet that's not really a childminders' conference she's off to.
Stephen, will you be wearing your medals tomorrow? How many have you got? I've just listened to 'The Flowers of the Forest', it's lovely. There are a few different videos of it but I liked these 2 the best.

Pauline my last mobile phone had The Flowers of the Forest" as its call tune to let me know when someone wanted me.. I have been watching the Lord Mayors show on TV it is still on but I had forgotten to email someone so logged on to do that. I think that show is lovely. we used old telephone directories sheets and news papers instead of toilet rolls in the old days. my job was to make holes in the paper and thread it onto a piece of string Lol My Grandmother wasted nothing.
Pauline I thought I had done something wrong first of all when Shellys sheets came up.then I wondered if I had a virus.?
I am looking forward to the Albert Hall remembrance tonight. it is so moving and tearful. I have my husbands medal in a case on show he had two. but my Grandfather and my Uncle George had loads. I gave them to my eldest son and he has now given them to his son. They are from The Boare war. there are around 6 medals. I gave him my Uncles which was for the 1914-18 war and amoung them was a bronze medal with his name on the edge of it it was the size of a small saucer., I think it was because he lost his life but I am not too sure.? he was in the Royal Navy a regular Grandfather was a regular in the army. 7th Dragoon Guards.

I'm not out, just been doing a few other things.
I've looked at your post (on the other thread) Shelly but it baffled me...........easy done.
Marilyn, our Stephen's soft on the inside but hard on the outside.................he lives in Scotland remember.
Rita my dad and uncles were all soldiers or sailors, one of them died a couple of years ago and they played The Last Post at his funeral..............brought tears to my eyes to see all the old soldiers give him a guard of honour.
