Dame Shelly,

St Michaels Mount, that is fantastic. I have been there a few times and found it really interesting. On a training course I did four of us SWAM from a wee village called Mousehole across the bay and landed on St. Michaels Mount. A fairly long swim.

Pauline.
The 'Black Bear' is a Pipe tune of it's own. It's great. Usually played at the end of a battle when the troops are returning to barracks.
When the Pipe Band finished their 'Tattoo' in front of Blair Castle at my daughters wedding I had them march off to the 'Black Bear'. My daughter has never forgotten the tune and I have heard her whistle it as she does things around the house. 'Highland Cathedral' she really loves that.

Ready to wrap on my Kilt and head off to the Ceilidh now.

See you all tomorrow.

Linda,
My wife works with pre 5s who are profoundly disabled.
It's a hard task to have them included in main stream education but she battles on for them and their families.
Our MPs spend more on their lives of luxury in a year than some of these families will in a lifetime.
How unjust is our world ?

Shelly I didn't see any creche. Good point as many will have small children of their own.
I guess it is expected that the childrens Dads will care for them on a Saturday.

I have been unable to go to traing mid week as if you are caring for other peoples children you cannot get the time to go !!!
Wonder how parents would feel if they couldn't do any training in their working hours.
But if you care for more than one family how do you sort care for maybe 6 different children ??

So we give up our Sturdays or evenings after having the children all day................... sometimes from as early as 7:00 until after 6:00 in the evening too.
I don't have that respnsibility now but I have done in the past and when I started it was for £1 an hour !!!

Linda :o) XxXX

Thanks for making me think about what I have done and will continue to do for the little ones Shelly

Stephen I think your wife must have a great deal of compassion and caring. As some children have great needs.

Hi all,
Where is ya all then. I bet X Factor is on and you are all watching it, apart from Marilyn, who is probably sunning herself and having a beer. Lucky girl.
Has P bought the shops up then Maz, or has he taken you back to buy the perfume you forgot to buy for all your friends on here, oh and the after shave for Stephen, not forgetting Shelly's wind chime,LOL.

Hi Sueee, you all right mate. Whats the name of the hospice you raise funds for. We have one close to us called Demelza House, it's a brilliant place. Terminally ill children and their families go there. The staff are the best you could wish for.
We have held many darts marathons, to raise funds for them,as they sooooo deserve every penny that they get.
It annoys me that places that do such good work, dont get the funding they deserve.
I will get down of my soap box now sorry about that.

Rita did you watch the dancing tonight. Wasn't Kara and Scott good, I think Felicity or Ann Widdy should go tommorrow night dont you love.
Hows that foot tonight, is the swelling going down now.

Jean, I hope you are taking it easy love. Has your little grandaughter been to visit this weekend.
I should be seeing my youngest two next Saturday hopefully, when they visit their dad for the weekend. They are so interesting at their ages, 7and 10. At the inbetween stage of wether to believe in Father Chrismas or not.
Afraid not to, in case they don't get any presents.LOL

A big HI to all I have not spoken to.

My sister went to see the Lord Mayors show in Town this morning. she said it was lovely.

My foot is still not right it is very red on the top I can walk on it now. without much pain. but it is still badly swollen. but as I only started taking the tablets yesterday I suppose I will have to give it a chance.
