Afternoon all, lovely sunny day here, and not too cold.
Am not doing very much this weekend, just playing on computer and eating chocolate, lol, not a lot though.
Rita, my treatment is ok at the moment, not too many side effects, only 3 more weeks for both, then 6th December I have both scans, will have results before Christmas.
Hope you are all ok, and not suffering too much with the cold weather.

Take care,
Jean xx

Pauline,

Try these for lovely pipe tunes.

The Dark Island.

Highland Cathedral

Highland Cathedral is special to me.

That was the one that was played as my daughter left the tiny Highland Church led by a single piper.....only to be met outside by a full Pipe Band. She didn't know I had arranged for the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band to lead all the guest from the Church then up the driveway to Blair Castle for the reception. Fantastic.

She gave me a great big cuddle and said 'I feel like Princess'

Do a google for Blair Castle it's lovely.

Don't know how you get the tunes on the computer but if you can get 'The Black Bear' you will see what I mean about a rousing tune.

Catch ya later, perhaps , before my Ceilidh

Shelly, was he given the pretty coloured ones or were they just plain? 24 a month!! Maybe Sundays are classed as 'rest' days and week days as active days..........LOL.

Has his card been stamped? Apparently they get a stamp if they go for extra lessons about STDs.

Only 3 more weeks treatment Jean, then we'll all keep our fingers crossed for the scans.

Wow Stephen, I've had a look at that castle, it's like a fairy tale castle from the outside, but the inside is magnificent. I love the entrance hall and the picture staircase............fabulous.

Is 'The Black Bear' another name for 'Scotland The Brave'?

Hi all.
Shelly, shock horror, what the flippin heck are they thinking about, giving your son those ballons at his age. Still it's better to be safe than sorry, and he's bound to be experimenting at his age, saves on the bits of tissue shoved under the bed,and a mum who thinks to herself,oh poor little mite he's got a bad cold, having to use that many tissues. LOL (no offence meant folks)

The castle is beautiful isn't it Pauline. The only castle close to us, is Rochester Castle, and it's falling to bits. We took friends of ours from Preston there on one occasion. The stairs themsleves at that time were crumbling, and frightened the pants of me. The husband said he felt other presences when we were looking around it. Now he is a bit of a psychic, and to be honest we have never been there since.

Oh, spooky Mo.

We don't have anything as grand as that castle near us, but it doesn't look like it's near to anybody does it?

I liked the 'Highland Cathedral' as well Stephen, it's lovely. The Dark Island is haunting. Might go well with the presences that were around Mo in Rochester Castle.

Mo in Kent Report 13 Nov 2010 15:20

Pauline they have been rebuilding the castle for years, but it seems no better now than it did years ago.
When we went there was literally only the stairs around the insides of the castle left, nothing much to see. Mind you the castle grounds are lovely.
And next month they are holding the Dickens Feastival,in Rochester itself, and the Castle grounds are having a Dickensian Market for about a fortnight.
The Cathedral in Rochester is quite splendid though, but not as grand as some.

Hi Stephen
Just back from the conference. Interesting. It was about inclusion of all children and we had a really good speaker who has autism, a young man of 21 who told us about himself................. very thought provoking and informative. Shelly will understand where I am talking about and Pauline of course with Brett.
The food was very good, I had too many pastries for breakfast, then cup cake for morning coffee, a full meal at 1:00 followed by fresh fruit !!! Then a cookie with tea this afternoon. Don't think I need to eat at all tonight.

Stephen I have been to Blair Castle, but it was 32 years ago on my only trip to Scotland so far. It was beautiful and I'll always remember it. I am coming to Scotland in May next year, with friends on a train trip excursion for 5 days. I'll check the details and let you know where we will be but it is very organised.

Off now to do some more cross stitch. Already made 3 cards.

Jean Thanks for your contact, I have sent the photos to you.

Linda :o) XxX
