You climbing Hydranger won't stay on that trellis for long if it is anything like my ones.

Only a couple of hours ironing today so finished nice and early. I don't get backache Jane but my poor hand is nearly twice the size of the other one and I do get quite a lot of pain there, at least it's the left hand so it doesn't affect my painting.
I haven't looked at my e.mails yet, will look forward to seeing Ros craft work, it must give her a lot of satisfaction Frank to be creative and make something useful too.
I don't have anything blooming in the garden yet, I'm looking forward to starting off some flower seeds soon, my daughters are getting into gardening now as well so will probably go around mine and take cuttings for them.
Oh Jane, I can just picture you dodging from room to room trying to avoid the window cleaner, I bet he's seen some sights in his time ;-)

The pictures are lovely Frank. Ros is certainly very clever with her needle!! Thanks Maureen for your email, At last we're properly in touch again!! I hope the decorating goes well at your sons new house. Yes , Mel, I'm looking forward to the new Poldark. Like you, I shall be comparing it to the old version, hopefully favourably!!!! We didn't watch Broadchurch because we missed part one and just couldn't get into part 2. I think we should have persevered for longer as everyone has said how good it was. We've recorded 'Indian Summers' and shall watch 'A Casual Vacancy' on catch up, when we get round to it!!! It's been a lovely day here, really warm and sunny so after Sainsbury's this am we've spent the afternoon gardening. It's now time for a cuppa! Did you watch Africa's Fishing Leopards Frank? We recorded it as it looks well worth viewing.

I'll watch it Mel and see what I think, but I'm the same as you on the swearing front, I find it unnecessary and tedious, we both do. Must get Merlin in. Yesterday he spent most of the day in his yard as it was so wet, so he was pretty frisky when he went into his field this morning!!

Afternoon all.
No Liz I haven't watched any T.V. today. I will have to try to find it and have a look.
Mel, I didn't know I had a climbing Hydranger (sp) That's Ros's dept. :-D :-D :-D I only put things in where she tells me ;-) ;-) ;-)
Had to go out with Madam this pm. The tyre wasn't sealing to the rim, so the chap put on "THE GET YOU HOME TYRE" So after finding a tyre fitter who would look at it we went out. They have sealed the Alloy Wheel, and refitted the tyre. I have got a quote to refurbish all four wheels £264.00. They will take our wheels off, fit some of theirs. Refurbish all the wheels and refit the tyres. When they are done they will call us to go back in and have them fitted. That doesn't sound a bad deal. Will have to see how the "PIGGY BANK" is. I did suggest to Ros, that I would pay for ONE for her birthday another for Christmas, and the same for next year. I am too much of a gentleman to put down her reply. The second word was OFF. :-D :-D :-D
Football on the tele. down the pub tonight. so Madam can watch what she likes for a couple of hours. (SHE WOULD ANYWAY) !!! I am so easy going <3 <3 <3
Fish pie for me tonight. Not sure what Ros has got, but she won't eat fish if she can help it. Crab and Lobster is acceptable !!!

We've had a little drizzle here but it is very mildout compared to the weather we've had lately.
Hope Jane and Chris enjoyed their lunch and film.
I just let the bantams out for their run about. There was a lot of raping going on so perhaps they will start laying soon.
Hope Gill's mum is better now. She must have her hands full at the mo looking after mum. Love to Gill. <3
Frank I will see if I can get a pic of my climbing Hydranga. Yours is in the pic you sent of the snowdrops with a trellis behind it and it will stick itself to the fence as it hangs on by little roots.

Evening all,
Been quite a nice sunny day here, hung my towels and tea towels out and got them all dry ,it did cloud over at one point and the clouds were really black i though we were in for rain but it kept dry .
Frank, you have a nice bed of snowdrops there , i love the blankets and play mat too, Ros has done some lovely needlework and the colours are nice just right for little ones ,i'am sure they will love them. So your feeding cats instead of the birds :-D i have stopped feeding the birds because of the rats hubby had a look and some more bait has gone so there must be some still about !!
The other side mirror came today for the car so hubby will be able to fit that if he can do the wiring ,i think the door panel has to come off because the wires have dropped down inside .
I couldn't get into The Casual Vacancy ,i have recorded Indian Summers so we'll watch that when we get time .
I hope your OH's ankle is better Gill ,can he still ride his bike with a bad ankle ? How is your mum ? hope she's on the mend too.
We have a lot of noisy plans about this evening ,i can hear them roaring as they climb !!

No noisy plans here Mandy...........
Good that Colin can fit the mirrors as it saves money.
I have steak and kidney on low and it's been on all afternoon. Just have to do some teddies and greens and bung in a couple of dough boys and thats dinner sorted.
Midsomer Murders tonight.....goodie at least it is watchable without swear words and we should get to see Sykes again.
I loved Sykes in the ad with the dribble dripping bunny.

Do you mean Planes Mandy? I wondered what noisy plans you could possibly be having lol
FRank. What beautiful blankets Ros has made :-D :-D.How long does it take her to make one?...You have more Snowdrops than me.I think ours are going over now.
The film was ok but I did find it very slow to begin with. The man next to me had a few little snores and woke himself up each time lol.I pretended I hadn't noticed.I often sit next to him as we like to try and get the same seats each time...I said to him today we might be best friends soon :-D.He doesn't really chat but waved me goodbye :-D
We went to As* for lunch and it was so busy with just one waitress taking orders and serving. So we left after a few minutes and walked along to Pizza Exp****.That was busy too but it was fine.I asked the girl there why everywhere was so busy and she said it was because the Derngate and Royal Theatres had Peter Pan and Oklahoma on.The Cinema was full to and also the multi storey car park.We were lucky to get a space.
When we were at Hannahs on Saturday she was using a cookery book called Ottolenghi the cookbook.Chris thought it would be a good idea to order one.It arrived today ....Crikey there are some very strange recipes .Lots that I wouldn't fancy at all .But I haven't dared say that lol I will try a few of the easier ones :-D I imagine if you love cooking slightly different things the book is brilliant.I can see James having a go at some of the dishes :-D :-D
I forgot that we are going to Stratford on Avon on Friday and staying over night. We are going to the Swan Theatre to see Oppenheimer ..I am not sure it is my cup of tea but you never know..I just hope that our seats are more comfortable than the last time we went.I told Chris I would never go again if we were perched on high wooden bench type seats where my legs just dangled.I think we are down the bottom this time in what looks more comfortable seating. Hannah is coming home on Friday morning so I will pick her up from the station at 10 and then we will be off at 11.She will be home alone lol.I forgot we weren't going to be here. But she has plans anyway .We will see her for a few hours on Saturday afternoon and then Sunday morning before she goes back to London .I won't even have to feed her :-D
Must check the oven.James's dinner is almost done and he isn't home yet :-S

:-D :-D Mandy . Yesterday we had 3 Chinooks (those double ended helicopters)I think Chinook is right. They came over really quite low .It was the deep rumbling noise that made me look out the window. We aren't getting ready to send planes off somewhere again are we? :-S
Enjoy your Steak and Kidney Mel.I wouldn't like that.(the kidney) :-S...Don't tell Chris you are having it.I think he would love it.He never gets Kidney or Liver here.
I couldn't get into Casual Vacancy or Indian Summers :-S.What am I going to watch??? Just seen your email come through Mandy .
