Afternoon All All good with the teeth.Just a clean and polish needed :-D.I think my sensitive tooth is caused by plaque that I just can't quite get to.All the staff at the Dentists (except the Dentist( had streaming colds and coughs) :-S Then I had a few errands to get done .I finally got home at 1o'clock absolutely starving.I hadn't had any breakfast.
Fiona ,has it arrived yet?..I bet you can't wait to sit with your feet up now :-D :-D
Oh I think it would be awful to be without a dishwasher now.We were quite late in having one.I never thought we really needed one.But once we had one I realised how wrong I was :-D.
I have to ring B*Q in Wellinborough to see if they have a paint that isn't in the kettering store.Better do it now before I forget :-D

Mandy just love thst conversation you had. If they ask me about windows I say yes and they have curtains, blue ones. Or tell them my oh is a Mcfree engineer, they usually put the phone down then.
We've had a huge hail shower which I did'nt think would wet the washing. After it I thought the sky looked a bit grey still so I brought it in thinking I would shake off the hailstone. No they had frozen to oh's sweatshirt so I had to pick them all off. The sun is out again now but it is so cold out enough to freeze a brass monkey's wotsits off.
Good at the dentist then Jane and over for another few months.
Wonder if the new suite has arrived yet?????? :-D :-D :-D

Afternoon All,
That's good your teeth are ok Jane. I use the Colgate Pro Rel*ef sensitive toothpaste now after the dentist mentioned it. I'd been using the Sens***** one for a few years. He said to rub it over sensitive areas as well after cleaning.
I have just been poring over the new menu for A s*oughs, there look to be some nice choices! Cheeky OH suggested I will be 'scoffing' at A*coughs tomorrow!!!!
Your new suite looks very smart and comfy Fiona. I bet you have given it a testing out already today. :-) I hope poor little Sofia's ear is soon better. I bet it's been very painful.
The house I went to before that has bead sales 4 times a year has had another so I went along last night. Blimey, the kitchen table was piled high with home made cakes and pastries as well as sausage rolls, biscuits and nibbles and a big dish full of chocolates!!! The lady's hubby gets everyone a drink as they arrive and you have that and some food before you look around. I only managed a biscuit as I'd had a carvery at lunch time. :-S (I must make sure I'm hungry next time I go.......the apple cake is bound to be healthy isn't it!! lol)
I was chatting to one of the helpers and she told me she did voluntary work. It's for a charity that gets chemists and GPs to sign up with them and then they go and collect from them any medication that's been returned by the public that's still in date. They check it over and it and it is sent to be used in Africa free of charge. She said otherwise it would just be incinerated as it is not allowed to be re-used here. What a great idea to help others and doing so save waste at the same time. The 3 cats that came in while I was there, a ginger tabby, a black and a black and white......seemed a bit miffed as all their sleeping spots were covered in boxes of beads!!! I bought a few beads, got 3 free patterns and a £5 discount so it was a good trip.
FIL has had another fall, this time onto the gas fire, which luckily wasn't switched on. He'd had another fall about a fortnight ago, a few days before we visited before, but despite us saying he still hadn't been to the docs. MIL made an appointment but for 3 weeks ahead and said that no one could see him for 3 weeks because of half term......I don't think so! ( it's really because she won't see a different doctor!!) :-S OH reminded her the doctor had told her that she must get him seen straightaway if he had any more falls and rang her yesterday to see if she'd got a sooner appointment. She said FIL was feeling much better now and less wobbly so they were leaving it till the appointment next week!! :-S :-S Give me strength!!!! :-S
I've had a dishwasher for over 20 years, just wish it was big enough to take the oven shelves!! lol. With just 2 of us and eating out a lot now, ours isn't on every day but I still wouldn't be without it. It keeps the kitchen tops tidy and free when you can bung the dishes out of sight straightaway. We still hand wash things like mixing jugs and kitchen knives if the dishwasher isn't on that day. Yes, some progs take ages, same with the washing machine!

Thanks Liz :-D Well I have just driven to Wellingborough and back and got 6 tester pots of paint :-D. I was hoping Chris might have gone, but he is a strange mood so I decided just to go myself :-D.He can go and get the big pots when we have decided what colour for the front porch.
LOL Mandy.Nice one :-D :-D :-D
Frank thank you for the email about stone cleaner...Not sure why you sent it really LOL I'm a bit confused :-S :-S.Was it meant for me? Or have I asked and forgotten :-S :-S I know what I'm like sometimes.
It is so bright here that it was a bit difficult to see the road properly just now.I did think I might get caught up in school traffic but I was lucky. Frank you know the Embankment at Wellingborough.Well there are so many Swans there.I don't think I have ever seen quite so many. There must have been a Hundred or more !!!!!!!
It will be a hairwash for me again in the morning as i will be heating up that Smoked Haddock macaroni Cheese dish in a bit,and I couldn't possibly meet Ann smelling like an old fishmonger tomorrow :-D
Oh dear Frank that was a bit of an upset then with all of Ros's seeds :-S....30 sneezes !!!.You could have sneezed your head right off........Are you insinuating I have a big mouth ?? :-| :-| ;-)
Mel I hope you get a better night tonight. It's horrible just lying there desperate to sleep and just not being able to.
I hope the new suite has arrived now Fiona.Luxury seating tonight :-D :-D

The wanderer has returned, loaded down with reduced plants. I don't know when she will put them in. I have been out and watered them. It's so cold I thought my nuts were going to fall off (brass Monkey) :-D :-D :-D :-D
Jane, You mentioned going down to Devon to look at your Mums Grave and give it a tidy up. I mentioned the Stone cleaner then, and said when I found it I would let you know what it was. Come on get yourself sorted :-( :-( IT MUST BE YOUR AGE <3 <3 <3
I had it firmly in my brain that there was Football on T.V. tonight, but do you think I can find it. Not on your NELLIE. !!!
Hope you two girls enjoy your lunch out tomorrow with Fitz, You must give us a report tomorrow.
Ann that was some spread to lay on for a bead sale. You should have asked for a "DOGGY BAG" and fed the oh when you got home ;-) ;-) ;-)
We should use our DW more often, we have enough plates and cutlery to last us three or four days. Which would just leave the saucepans/roasting dishes to wash.
Ros is doing one of her stir fry's tonight, I made a Bread and Butter pudding earlier, so that can go in the oven any time now.
Should see you a bit later.

Oops sorry Frank.I might just have missed your post saying you would look up the stone cleaner..But thank you very much.I appreciate it <3
Lordy Lordy Ann.Your MIL :-S :-S..Do you think she is putting off taking FIL to the Dr's just in case they find anything wrong? She is a difficult woman isn't she.I wouldn't be surprised now to hear your FIL has more falls.Thank heavens the fire wasn't on when he fell on it.it really doesn't bare thinking about. There will be some calamity or crisis at some point by the sounds of things. Sounds like quite a spread at the house of beads :-D I can just picture the pussies in a huff lol.I'm surprised they actually came in with all the people there...Maybe they are used to it.
Just had a look at the menu for tomorrow.I think I know what I might have :-D Will see you at 12.30 :-D...Fitz is coming up here and I will be driving.
I am taking my car back in to Renault on Friday again as it is still slightly pulling to the left :-S.Something must be causing it to do that.
Oh no .Just watching the news and see they have found body parts of the 16 year old girl who has been missing :-( :-( :-(...it is dreadful :-0 :-0.Her poor family :-( Hopefully they have all the right people responsible for her death in custody.
Better get this stinky dinner in the oven now :-S :-D :-S

Yes Jane this murder is quite shocking. That poor family, how on earth would anyone begin to cope with that. Talking of teeth!!!! I use Cosodyl toothpaste in the evening and Colgate sensitive in the morning + those in between brushes! The Corsodyl is quite vile, to the point of making you feel sick!!! but you do get used to it and it does seem to help the on going periodontal problems!! Have just given his lordship a hair cut, and it looks quite good, though I say it myself! Stew in slow cooker and dumplings tonight with green beans. Not to much effort needed and almost no clearing up! I had one of those Colston table top dishwashers years ago, then a full size Indesit. Then when we were on our own I didn't have one for a while, now I have again, and like you Jane I wouldn't be without it!

I use Pro-Expert Or&l B Premium gum protection. It does everything and is a bit expensive but I buy it when it is on special. I leave it round my teeth after brushing, no rinsing.

I bought the gum protection Oral BMel. Dentist said not to bother with that but just to use the Sensitive ones .Not to rinse or spit !!!!!..You have to spit don't you .But he said by rinsing it washes off the toothpaste .Dab a finger full of toothpaste around affected tooth. He also told me not to use Mouthwash .Tooth is pinging a bit ,but just because he poked around in it a bit too much :-S.It will settle :-D
I gave Chris his dinner first....He has given the thumbs up :-D Says I can cook it again :-D :-D...James has just got in and says it smells of fish in here..
Mandy and Frank have you seen Look East????? With the Woodpecker in flight with a Weasel hanging on it's back !!!!!!!!.You can just Google Woodpecker Weasel and it will come up :-D..It's brilliant :-D

Yes I saw that too on the news! Poor kingfisher looked really alarmed!! We've just finished watching a brilliant wildlife prog about Owls on BBC 2. It was SO interesting,. We've put up an owl box in our barn so we're very hopeful that someone will take up residence! The bluetit box on the side of the house has had a viewing so to speak, but whether there will be residents is hard to say - Fingers crossed for both of the potential nests! My hygienist told me about not rinsing your mouth after cleaning your teeth, I told OH and he just looked disbelieving!! Well, if he wants rubbish teeth he must get on with it! Mind you his are much steadier for far less effort than mine, which is a bit annoying to say the least.

That Photo is one in a million. I bet everybody who has a camera would go a lifetime and not get one like that. ;-) ;-)
I heard on the news that they had found body parts of that young girl. What sort of people are they to do that.
I see Oxfordshire is full of young children who have been groomed by these gangs. They should CASTRATE EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM.( I WOULD DO IT FOR THEM) and continue to do it all over the Country. They must know who this scum is, they have sent loads of them to prison. What the hell has happened to our COUNTRY.
Not much on Television tonight. I have been playing cards, and reading.
We had a lovely Stir Fry tonight. There is enough over for Ros to have at lunchtime tomorrow. I will have my breakfast and that will see me through till dinner tomorrow night.
I have got a Chicken out of the freezer, so will roast that with Roast pots, and various vegetables. Aren't I well organised ??
Time for my tablets, then an early night with my book.
See you in the morning.

Saw the weasel on the Green Woodpeckers back too and also we watche dthe owl program. Dos'nt seem to be much else on the box tonight.
I ate a bit of popcorn and got a bit down the side of one of my front teeth. It is wingeing now so I think I shall go and clean them.
I used Corsadyl mouthwash when I had that tooth ache and held it on the two problem teeth, which have to come out next week but it has turned the two teeth brown. If you read the label it says it can do this so watch out if you do use it and don't hold it in your mouth for long or use it too often.

I'm glad you mentioned about the Woodpecker Jane, it's an incredible photo! I see the Woodpecker got away in the end.
Yes, trouble ahead with OH's parents Jane. I know what you mean but I don't think it enters their heads that it could be anything serious, they seem to think these falls are funny. The problem with the doctor's is just that they won't countenance seeing any other doctor, even if they have to wait for weeks. I suspect this particular doctor may have more patience with them than the others. The trouble is when you ask what made him fall neither of them can tell you. That worries me as he has had mini strokes in the past so again it may be his medication that needs looking at. As OH says, it is a miracle they have lived this long the way they carry on.
I made a smoked haddock fish pie once. The fish was in a cheese sauce and it had a potato topping and looked really nice. OH was looking forward to it as he likes smoked fish..........it was horrible and ended up in the bin!!! I might have the salmon at A*coughs tomorrow Jane so it could be me that smells fishy not you!! lol.
That was a good way to stop a cold call Mandy!!lol :-D
Frank, Ros's started early on the garden plants this year!!!
