Buddy Hospitals !!!!!

I had an appointment booked for next Tuesday at 9.15am for my 3-monthly MRI scan.

That was bad enough because I do struggle in the mornings but I have just received a letter to say that this has been changed to 8.15am !!! :-( :-(

Now, that REALLY IS a struggle so I phoned to see if it could be changed - I would have to wait at least 6 weeks for another appointmentand they could not guarantee that this would be at a time later in the day! That would not fit in with seing my surgeon and my Prof in Clatterbridge for the other 'nasty' procedures etc !!!

SO - Don't expect to see me for brekkie on Tuesday folks ! :-( :-( :-(

So much for what they say in their letter i.e.

"Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, your examination may have to be postponed. If this occurs we will aim to offer you another appointment at a mutually convenient time."

Baaaah Humbug!!!...............

Ohhh Ginny Ginns - that is my next step and something obviously to look forward to !!!

I now have Osteoporosis as well as all the other things so IF I go into that I will end up in 'that' Clinic...


At the moment I have far too many other things to worry about so perhaps I can save that experience for another day !! ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D

Bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and hash browns.......ready for Dea.

Eggy bread just right for Gins.

Porridge and cereals.....toast......crumpets and croissants also available.

Will the last one down, please check that the fridge door is shut properly.



Have got my washing blowing on the line already......no sun but plenty of breeze :-D




Gins, I know what 'keyed' means...I just don't know why we can't use the English language properly. 'The car was deliberately scratched by a key' sounds so much better than 'The car was keyed'. If you see what I mean... :-)

The tests don't bother me nowadays Cynthia as I am quite used to them and they will continue for the next 9 years or so (If I last that long ;-) :-D ) It is just all the 'hanging around' at the hospitals and having to chase up appointments all the time and having them changed at the last minute etc. which annoys me :-(

Glad you have decided to go with the flooring that you like :-D

Ginns - I only mentioned that because you were saying about the changes to appointments at your 'Metabolic Bone clinic' and that is where this would be treated if I could fit in any more hospital appointments ;-)

It's funny, the name of the clinic makes me think that it is where you go be to changed into a 'Bionic' man or woman like in the old TV series :-D :-D :-D I don't know why it shoukld make me think that but it does :-D

Anyway, on to more important things........

Porridge is on for our Cynths because she will be in a rush this morning ;-)

Lots of fresh fruits, yoghurts, croissants, danish pastries.

Platters of assorted hams and cheeses with crackers and freshly baked bread rolls.

Bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread.

Eggs - poached, fried, or scrambled.

Toast, crumpets + various sweet or savoury spreads.

Postman brought me another present :-(

Another lot of the prep for Friday! I am not taking a double dose ;-)

Spent hours yesterday trying to decipher the name of one of the ships that OH's granddad served on in WW1.

After lots of help over there we got it and even ended up with a photo

OH couldn't sleep so when he was awake at silly o'clock he was playing around on internet.

He has found that at least one medal and his granddad's gold pocket watch (which he was meant to get) were sold at auction last summer.

For the princely sum of £40 :-S

Honestly you lot - You make me feel a right fraud with all these lovely accolades you keep piling upon me - you make me go all pink and embarassed !!! - I am neither 'special', nor 'wonder woman' nor any of the other undeserved titles that you pile upon me !! - There are many other people around who deserve them much more !!

I am flattered that you care but the only one I really deserve is Ginns' version - 'Numpty' ;-) :-D :-D
