When are your windows being fitted Ginns? - Not today I hope as it is SO windy you will get all sorts blowing in :-0

I daren't ask about Linda's radiator as she is being so unlucky with it. I will just wait and see and hope that it gets done today.

What with Gins and her new windows and Linds with her new radiators, I will join the list and say that, hopefully, I will have a new kitchen floor very soon...the man is coming to measure it tonight... :-D


It was certainly busy as I drove hither and thither on the school and hospital run but it was all worthwhile as I was able to spend more time with son than we usually get. He is getting frustrated at not being able to drive etc.etc. but these things can't be helped.


Today is a free day I hope.....and, as the sun is shining, I think a walk is on the cards.

J found the details of the stuff that had been sold (medals and the watch) just by googling his granddads name. It came up as it is an unusual surname.

I have now heard from the auctioneer (she contacted the dealer who bought that lot) he has sold the stuff on and can't remember if it was down South or in Edinburgh and no idea who to :-(

I have posted on my timeline on FB and asked everyone to share it on their timeline in the hope that someone will see it and will recognise the name.

I know it is a long shot but you never know ....

oops meant to say radiator fitted :-D

Have to come back with a new thermostat valve I would have thought that they would have known they needed one :-S

A lovely bright morning here but VERY windy again :-(

Breakfast is almost ready.............

Cereals, toast, porridge, fresh fruits, assorted yoghurts,,,

Ptatters of various hams and cheeses, freshly baked bread rolls, crackers..

Eggs, (boiled, poached, fried or scrambled), bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread...

Cheesy toasties, muffins, crumpets ....

Had a nice lunch out and then went for a quick rehearsal re Mothering Sunday.

Just had a jacket potato with cheese and butter.....scrummy.

Son has torn his cartilage and is to have an op next Friday. He has private cover - via work I think - so hopefully he can get back to work quicker.
