Dea,

While the prep is yuk and the procedure is even yuckier it is the couple of days afterwards that for me are the pain.

The air rumbles around in my poor tummy for ages.

(No jokes Gins about not parting with wind etc..) ;-)

Any hints Dea?

Good morning all......... :-D

It rather looks as though I am in charge of the kitchen again. I'd much rather do the ironing than cook but, needs must! ;-)

The kettle is coming to the boil.

The bacon and sausage are sizzling merrily.

Eggs, mushrooms and hash browns are almost done.

Croissants and crumpets, bread rolls and toast.....all ready........everyone is invited.... :-D

Happy St. Patrick's Day to our Irish friends........ <3

Love and ((hugs)) to those who are feeling off colour and down in the dumps... <3

Good morning all :-)

Thank you Cynthia the breakfast is delicious <3

I could find plenty of ironing for you too if you like ;-) :-D

Nice to see you popping in Sylvia <3

Linds,

Not much really helps but try a few sips of hot peppermint cordial every so often (If you are O.K. taking peppermint), and I find a hot water bottle on the tummy also eases things a little.

It will all be over soon.

Dea glad you are home safe and sound <3

Cynthia you will be worn out :-)

Sylvia <3 <3

The radiator we have waited a week for cannot be delivered today as promised.

It was to be fitted tomorrow morning now if we are lucky it will be done in the afternoon. :-(

Our fitters aren't happy with their suppliers and I am not a happy bunny either :-|

Dea......glad you're home safe and sound <3

Cyns, I'm surprised you have any soles left on your feet!

You're not meant to have a new rad Linds :-(

I've ploughed through a mountain of paperwork, paid too many bills, went to Tesco, had my car cleaned inside and out and am now about to tackle the vacuuming

Dea Report 18 Mar 2014 16:29

Feeling a little bit lonely here - I think it is because I have been up since 'silly o'clock' and I realy think that it is night-time but I haven't cooked tea yet :-0 :-S

Linds - How did OH find the details on his grandfather's watch? - My lovely dad received a gold half hunter pocket watch from his father when he died. It meant the world to him but he came over to South Wales for my wedding in 1971 and while he was away the house was burgled and the watch was taken.

He never did get over this - I bought him a pocket watch which was as good as I could afford at the time and he treasured that but it wasn't the same.

I would really like to get his watch back if at all possible.

Thank you Ginny Ginns !! <3

I have saved you the 'almost' last slice of my special milk chocolate cake which I haven't baked for several years.

The grandchildren have adopted it as their favoirite and I have sent a BIG portion home to their mum - am awaiting the verdict!

It is REALLY special though !!

Enjhoy................
