Oh, Jonesy, have the last word.

You're the one who chose to make it "bigot".

The idea that you were suggesting that I'm the one it applies to ... I guess we've gone through the looking glass.

If people want to be called mixed race, or whatever else they want to be called, fine. Call people what they want to be called.

Find me someone who wants to be called "half caste" or "coloured" and I'll buy them dinner.

I'm so sorry that some people find this so difficult to read.

Perhaps if some other people would mind their bigoted language -- be it about members of visible minorities or women or whoever, and some just do manage to hit them all quite regularly -- it wouldn't happen.

I don't put up with that kind of language in real life, and don't feel called upon to do it here.

Right well.......moving on.........in harmony....

I'll have you know Fans, that my little furry friends are extremely well trained. Alexander is wearing his red smoking jacket.....very tasteful it is too.

Have just subjected a visitor to our 10 min. wedding video.....it was to prove the point that yes, I was slim once! It's always good for a laugh though!

Meerkats are hideous ratty creatures, ew.

Imagine, trying to appropriate the name "cat" from the real things, as soft and cuddly and lovable as they are.

Cynthia Report 17 May 2011 21:50

Oh I'm that all right Janey.......all 43 years of it!

I vaguely remember mentioning this before Janey :D

I'm not really a 'catty' person....am I allowed to say that on this cat loving thread? However, I just think Meerkats are really cute to watch and the tv ads are brill.

Okay....Okay....I'm a sad person......but happy with it ;-)

I gave up on Norton a couple of years ago, and have had free AVG since then

I think I just googled AVG, and took it from the site.

I'm very happy with it, my "geek" suggested it, saying that's what they use.

BUT I don't do on-line banking, so I don't know how good its protection is for that.

Daughter told me on Sunday that MJ decided last week that it was time to crawl AND to "cruise" ........ described as walking using something such as the coffee table as support!

Having decided, he seems to be getting ahead by leaps and bounds!

He's also still very vocal, but not actual words. The baby sitter THINKS she heard him say "cookie" last week ............. that's the North American word for biscuit.

No-one else has heard him say that

What a word to be his first word!!

Lol I thought Dad Da was meant to be the first word ? well cookie is more important :D

HID is going to download one that comes free with our broadband tomorrow. We used it for the first couple of years they did charge a small fee each month then it was included for free, but when I bought my laptop norton was included for the first year so we continued last year but the price has gone up a lot.

I need my online banking and it does come in handy. Daughter posted on FB tonight that she needed a lift home from work as they live in a stupid villiage where the buses finish at 8pm.

She had no money for a taxi so I was able to transfer money straight away into her account even after banking hours

I can see where that would be really useful.

We still go the bank, write cheques etc.

But we may have a problem in a short while. Canada Post is talking about going on strike ................ all of our bills come by mail, and most of them we pay by mail

will have to find another way of paying them!

Hi everyone hope you are all well.

LOL Sylvia. I'm sure my daughter's first word was No then Da Da.

Monster that she is! :-)

I used to use online banking but I had a card potentially corrupted so after that scare I've gone back to paying bills the old fashioned way by cash, same for groceries etc.

I'm suprised at the number of people who use cards to pay for tiny value items (say only a dollar or two)..it ends up costing them more in account fees than it does to do a withdrawal and learn to budget your money.

Cold and windy here today, the sun is still missing!

Cynthia 43 years married, that is great! So many people I know hardly stay together anymore so it's nice when you here that there are still couples around!
