Christopher Plummer is one of my favourite actors.

We haven't been to the movies for over 30 years, so whatever movies I've seen have been on airplanes!

I don't know whether you ever saw any episodes of Counterstrike, a TV Series that was on from 1990–1993

After his wife is killed in a terrorist operation, international industrialist Alexander Addington (Christopher Plummer) assembles a private team of troubleshooters to help combat terrorism around the world.

Stars:Simon MacCorkindale, Christopher Plummer and Tom Kneebone

Thank you Sylvs....just wondering about whether to have some more toast or not....decisions decisions.

Loved the cornflake joke.....I wondered what was coming on that one.

Got most of the chicken one but there were some names I didn't recognise.

The old person one I had read recently but still think it's funny.

Tell you what Sylvs, British comedy isn't what it used to be and I don't think it's an age thing either. I have a definite 'laughter/humour button' in me, but many so called comedians just leave me cold. I listen to the radio in the car and sometimes wonder what audiences are laughing at as I haven't even smiled!!

I don't even think that 'blue' humour is as amusing as it used to be.either......the comedians seem to want to be breaking through boundaries in sheer desperation to get people to laugh.

Gorgeous day here..............not that I am doing anything exciting though!

I think the folk taking care of Janey's mum are showing a true spirit of neighbourliness.....something which, sadly, seems to be disappearing in too many places. They sound wonderful neighbours Janey and it must take some of the worry from your shoulders.
