Parlt returned yesterday for a budget from the miserable corrupt Conservatives. All three opposition parties have announced they will vote against it. So rather than wait, PM Harper will likely go to the Governor General to call an election for early May.

Harper recently announced that he wants official government glurge to go out with the headline "The Harper Government". Not "The Government of Canada".

We're as flummoxed as you would be if your government started calling itself ... well, whatever the name of your PM is these days. ;) Yes, I know. "The Cameron Government". Or maybe "The Dave and Nick Show".

The Harper Government was found to be in contempt of Parliament the other day for lying to the House -- that piece of nothing Cabinet Minister who forged a document by adding "NOT" to it, and then lied and lied about it in the House.

Our government is more fun than your government any day!

Citing the government for contempt of Parliament -- it's one of those things that's on the books for centuries, and it's just there when you need it.

If there's an election, there's no citing of the government for contempt of Parliament.

I'm just naughty by nature. Well, curious like a monkey.

When I took a Saturday Board of Ed course on the internet many years ago -- I'd never been on line and decided to check this newfangled thing out -- there wasn't much there, and what there apparently were, were things called Archies and Jugheads and assorted other bibbledybabble. (And there were certainly no search engines, so I don't even know how I managed what I did.)

So the instructor, with whom I was geek-flirting (yes, it involved science fiction), wanted us all to go look at some site in New Brunswick that had blueberry pie recipes or something.

When he came by my desk, I was just about to sign myself up with the Democratic Party youth wing in Washington DC ...

Note the number at the end, it's the number of the board. So I checked out every single other board and noted the numbers at the end, and which numbers didn't have boards, and started messing.

I found three that gave me forms for posting -- but didn't tell me where I was posting! So I just shot my arrows in the air ... Half expecting to land in some public place with people staring at me. ;)

Since the War Stories board is the only one I can actually get to the board itself for -- not Admin2 or Local Testing -- I may well be standing there with people staring at me, and just not kno wit!

What I did was delete 'em, jax. ;)

I managed to post on boards called Admin 2, war_stories, Local Testing and something else, Roger Test or some such. But I couldn't see the boards themselves -- just my posts!

So for all I know, I was standing in the middle of the Admin 2 board, surrounded by the busy GR elves talking among themselves, when suddenly I landed, and they were all pointing at me and yelling at me to get out! but I couldn't hear them ... ;)

Anyhow, they're gone, but I'll just leave the refs here to confuse everybody. Maybe we can play again tomorrow night.
