Crikey Mandy...Pen License ,ipad Licence !!!!!.How things have changed at primary school lol

I did laugh too at the man with his note book...I could just see the GP's heart sink when that came out .He was thinking Oh Gawd here we go LOL....The patient was very descriptive too wasn't he !!!! There is one GP in the programme I absolutely love.He is the one with the longish face.He is so kind to all his patients

That must be nice to hear the girls have good reports :-D...I bet they all look forward to getting dressed up.Does your DIL have to sort out all the outfits? That is a lot to do ,especially with having a new Baby too.I always went into panic mode when the children came home from school with a note saying they had to be dressed as 'such and such'...My neighbour back in those days was always very helpful and would help me make something(or even do it for me)..Sometimes I really really cheated and went to the fancy dress shop to hire something :-S :-S...Not good I know ,but it was when I was desperate .These were the times when I wished that I had my Sister and Mum living near.But they were nearly 300 miles away :-S

Yes, I wondered if he had OCD when I saw him so carefully putting his coat on the hanger Mandy! I meant to mention Dr Rose Jane!! I couldn't believe it when I saw the name on the door. :-) I love the dark haired young doctor with the very caring face and slight designer stubble. He really concentrates on what the patients say. It might be the same one that you like Jane. He was very kind to the poor girl that was in tears and suicidal if you saw that episode. He told her to take the dog for walks in the evening when she felt worst as she felt better with the dog. One thing I've noticed is that their appointment slots seem a lot longer than ours!

Have you been watching the Great British Sewing Bee Mandy? I liked the kilt that won last week, what a tricky job that was with all the pleats!! What outfits will the girls be wearing tomorrow? School sounds quite tough with all these licences to be got nowadays. I suppose it gives the children something to aim for though.

Jane oh cut our grass a few weeks ago. He is waiting to do it again now but it has been too wet.

Frank your looks nice and tidy now. Your snowdrops are looking lovely too. Mine are nearly over now but I have quite a few crocus out among them which I planted a few years ago and they never seemed to do much. I must buy some more dark mauve ones to put under the big ash tree.

Well dinner is all done and dusted.James is having dinner at his friend's place tonight as they are discussing the possibility of going to Snowdonia at the weekend to meet up with their friend Luke who is climbing mountains.If they go they will be sleeping in a mountain hut !!!..Must look out our one sleeping bag just in case James goes.It will need an airing lol as the last time it was used was when Hannah went to Glastonbury.
I'm not even sure if it is still here .Hannah might have it in London !!

Mel I forgot you had said OH had cut the lawns the other week.He really was an early bird. I have bought antihistamines ready for the hay fever troubles.I have actually taken a couple in the last few days as my eyes have been playing up :-S

I am worn out tonight. I had to take the big trolley today as I needed to get 5 bottles of cider for oh. It is those that do my hip, back and tummy in.

I am looking forward to Banished later on and then bed.

Went to let the bantams out tonight for half an hour and as I went out the back door and looked across the field the blasted fox was out there, the dark one. So they had to stay in untill about a quarter of an hour beofre they go in and up to their bedroom bit and stood out there with them while they had a peck about and some grass. they all went in and straight up their ladder to bed.

Been watching the strickly thing.

Hi All

Thanks Mel for letting us know find my past is free over the weekend. I'd been doing a bit of my tree before I got sick and was thinking of taking another look tomorrow. I haven't done anything on it for over a year so it's taking me a while to get back into it, so having the records open will be a great help.

I've slept most of today, which seems to have made me feel a bit better. I've not been sleeping very well lately so was really tired today.

I'm off to bed now so will read the posts tomorrow. I hate being ill, I always get ill when I'm stressed. I was so worried about my mum and everything going wrong here, that I think that's what brought this bout of illness on.

Hopefully I'll feel a bit better tomorrow

Another bad night so I was on the phone at 8.30 for an appointment!! Got one with Ian's doctor for later this morning. Shows what can be done with the right person doing it !!
Watched 'Banished' last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Neither of us dropped off once!!!! It's now got a green tick by it on the sky programme remainder. Super vet was brilliant. That vet is SO clever! Lots of happy owners and pets.
How's your new dishwasher Fiona? Better than the last one I expect!!
Must hang some washing as it looks like it's going to be a nice day.

I had a great nights sleep. Was in bed by 10.20 and all tucked down before 11.00. I went right through the night and woke at 7.00. Got up had my tea and Bacon sarnie, two more teas since.

Out in the garden in a mo. Then I will shower and shave later, when I come in.

Beautiful morning here, I haven't been out yet so don't know if it is cold. I will get the edges of the back lawn done, check the rotavator and if working will do my "PATCH" Ros bought some seed potato's so they need to be chitted. I think Easter is the time to put the spuds in ???

Sunny morning yet again. I could get used to this............. and I did'nt fire up the washing machine last night.....blow me down. As nan would say!

Slept straight away after getting in bed last night but I was worn out doing the shopping and pushing that big trolly. I do try to avoid those if I can now as they play havoc with my back hip and even my poor little feet. Ache all over this morning. Did have a glass of port while I watched Banished. I had a rellie way back who was transported to Oz.

Bright and Breezy here .I have got James's bedding in so will get that out on the line as soon as it is finished.
My car is at the garage now so they will ring me later this afternoon when it is ready to be picked up.Now I am off to see if I can find James a pair of cheap outdoor trousers that he can take tonight when he goes to Wales.He just needs something that if they get wrecked on a mountain or something he can just chuck them.There are not many places in town here that sell things like that bit I'll try Sports Direc* first.Then B&* for these other colour cards and finally Tes** for potatoes and veg.

I agree with Jane Mel, you shouldn't be lugging such a heavy weight! Surely your OH could go with you to do the donkey work?!!! particularly if they're for him!!! I'm afraid I'd insist or he'd be told to go and get it himself!!!
A day for gardening too in this house Frank, it's lovely out and not cold at all.

Well it's not that warm here but still bright and sunny. Just had an enomous lunch of salad and sweet chilli chicken. Oh had wraps with his.

Well I am just in from the garden. Did the lawn edges. Changed a fuse in the machine, and got the "Patch" to a nice fine tilth.(sp) It's already for planting up when I get the seeds. Potato's are chitting in the conservatory, Ros bought a dozen tomato plants (MONEY MAKER) reduced in price to. 50 p for pot of 4. I have potted those on, and are sitting in the greenhouse.

Madam has been out in the garden and started to tidy the beds. A little at a time I SAID. So she has packed it in for today.

We have a new neighbour at the bottom of the garden on our left. He commented on the bottom of his fence is rotting away and ask if it was mine to repair. Oh NO said I, that is your boundary fence and your responsibility . I told him in no uncertain terms. Ros thought I was a bit abrupt. (ME :-D :-D :-D)

What a beautiful day it is, the sun has been very warm on my back. I think I might have built up a thirst for a couple of pints tonight. IF I CAN GET MY PASS SIGNED !!!

The weekend looks like staying fine and warm. James should have a nice weekend in Wales. But you never know what their weather might be ;-) ;-) But no doubt he will enjoy the company and a few beers !!!

We have been invited next door on Sunday morning at 10 30 am for coffee and nibbles. They have invited us before, so we must make the effort. ;-) ;-)

My back and legs are aching like mad. even after sitting in the shower with the hot water running on my body.

While having a cup of tea before going in the garden Ros had Jerry Kyle on. Did anyone see it. One couple go "DOGGING" and he recons he has seen over 2,000 men having SEX with his wife. (HOW SICK CAN THESE PEOPLE BE)

Antibiotics have been prescribed with instructions to drink plenty! So all should be well in a day or two. Nothing awful in the sample which came back early this afternoon so, onwards and upwards!!
Tyre place this afternoon as the tipper trailer had a puncture! Then onto Tesco's for the usual dreary 'shopping chore'! There were some chaps washing cars there and one of them asked us if we wanted them to do ours!!!! Ian said "No, we have a pressure washer and we plan to do it over the weekend"! Note 'we'!! I don't think so, definitely HIS job. I don't mind doing the inside, but I'm not pressure washing and thats flat!!!!
Ian cooking supper tonight, so all I have to do is get in the washing, fold it and put in the airing cupboard, clear away the dishes, and relax!!!

Just had a "CAR ACCIDENT" phone call. I kept her talking for almost 10 minutes. In the end I said Can't you see you are being wound up like a clock. She didn't understand, being Asian I didn't think she would. BRING THEM ON !!!
