Morning all Evening Kim,
AND WHERE ARE YOU JANE ??? I have just phoned you. !!!
I missed Martin Clunes last night. as It was football down the pub. Might get it on catch up this afternoon.
I will be at the pub Sunday, as Ros is going down to Harvey's. I will see what they have on the Menu and eat down there, with a couple of pints and a football match I will be set up. Home Alone today "SHOPPING" I am going to do a bit in the greenhouse and might sow my runner bean seeds in pots and see what seeds I can set in trays. Will keep me out of mischief.
Hope all went well with the Dentist Mel.
Happy Birthday to Hannah and Ann's OH. Enjoy your lunch Ann. <3 <3
Beautiful morning here, Sunshine and white fluffy clouds. No wind, so it should be warm out.
Will get showered when I finish in the garden/greenhouse.

Afternoon all and evening Kim,
Back and had my impressions and went to Li*l and now I can't move anything in the fridge or it will all fall out!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HANNAH AND G AND HOPE YOU BOTH HAVE A LOVLEY DAY <3 <3
Suns out here and it's quite mild out and I forgot to turn the washing machine on last night and this morning so it is chugging away now.
The chickens wondered what was up when I let them out really early this morning. No moaning when I went in the run at all. Still not letting the bantams out during the day. They only come out for a hour in the afternoon before going to bed.
Nice to see Gill got on ok with FMP at the weekend. I had never really used the site before and could'nt really get my head around it in the time given but did look up a couple of things.
Hav'nt caught up with all your posts yet so I will do that now.

Well I am indoors now. I have set THREE trays of tomato seeds all different varieties So Neighbours will be well stocked up after we have used what we need.
Spoke to the neighbour who's head I bit off the other day. I apologised to him and explained how I am since my Stroke. He quite understood, and we had a good old chin wag. I have given him several lengths of 3" x 2" for the repair to HIS FENCE, and some 2" x 2" for nailing to the fence. I also managed to lift the Rotavator over his fence as he has a patch that needs doing. So all jolly good pals NOW !!!
Jane Information for you. The cable you need is called an EITHERNET CABLE. One end goes in the ROUTER SPARE PORT. There are 4 available the other end into your SKY BOX. If the router is in another room then use the ON DEMAND BOX which is wifi receiver.
As I said I have a box which you can have, and it's got a cable with it.
Glad the dentist went well Mel. When will you get your new gnashers !???
I will have to go back and read Gills post I must have missed it.

I don't want anything towards postage Jane, we are friends, aren't we ???
Had a nice shower, and dried my hair with the hairdryer. IT'S GONE ALL FLUFFY. I will have to put water on it to get in controlled !!!
I had some more snowdrops arrive this morning. They are for Ros's M & D grave. I have already got a box of crocus. So it will brighten up the grave in the spring time. I will just rake back the chippings, put in the bulbs, and cover them up again.
What a beaut of a day as KIM would say. :-D :-D :-D My T shirt was quite damp when I took it off to shower. The washing basket looks quite full. I don't know the settings on the machine, or I would do a load and get it out. That would have given Ros a surprise.. LEEK PIE tonight I had it on the simmer for a good hour and half. Only need to transfer to dish and cover with Pastry. Potato's done and ready to boil when we are ready for dinner tonight.
So the rest of the afternoon, it all MINE Will watch a bit of NAT GEO and see what's on catch up.

Afternoon All,
What a lovely day today for OH and Hannah's birthday........Happy Birthday to Hannah :-) I got OH one of those tiny gift cakes with a bear picture on top (we don't eat a lot of cake so a big one would be far too much!). I also got a couple of alphabet candles, two 'Gs' for him and put one in each paw of the teddy bear picture on the cake. lol. Well he was so chuffed with it and has lit the candles and made a wish already!!
Lunch was delicious. The pate starter was 'main course' size, a slice each of smooth and coarse pate, salad, piccalilli and warm crusty olive bread. We both had the ham hock in a cream and mustard sauce to follow, but decided to share a home made morello cherry cheesecake for desert as we couldn't manage a desert each. Afterwards we popped to a garden centre nearby and I got him an extra pressie, a book on Johnny Cash from the Wo*ks that he saw and fancied. Now he's gone off to a meeting and after he's off to a footie match with one of his pals.
Frank you have set me off and I must have a root through my seeds and start planting a few, those Snapdragons I bought recently to start with. We've decided to go and get the slates for the birdboxes tomorrow. Some waterproof sealant should stick them on ok after I've cut them to size. Gill, I've seen those camera boxes advertised and think one would be brilliant!! :-D I hope you manage to sort out the wire on yours.
I'm glad you are now 'bezzie mates' with the new neighbour Frank after the wobbly start. It's good he knows about your stroke, it means he may be a bit more tactful in approaching things in future which can't be bad. I think it is a great idea for you to enrol on that site where Hannah will be sharing the dogs. It means you would have some doggie company at times but no bills or full responsibility. I might even have a look myself!! :-)
It's good the impressions at the dentist's are now done Mel. It always feels as if they will squidge the stuff down your throat, then it's like a tug of war to get the thing free from your mouth. OH has suggested you get a Llama to protect your chickens and Bantams from the fox. He said it would be like having a 'burglar aLlama'. lol :-)

Thanks Mel for your kind offer I've PM'd you the details.
Your Leek Pie sounds nice Frank. I like your excuse for not doing the washing :-D :-D :-D Maybe you could ask Ros to show you then you can surprise her next time. That was nice of you to offer your On Demand Box to Jane. You are a good friend.
So you'll be up and running again soon Jane with lots of catching up to do with all your programs. I watch catch up on my laptop sometimes but mainly just record the programs and watch them straight off Sky.
Glad to hear you're getting your new gnashers tomorrow Mel :-D :-D I bet you can't wait after all this time.
Off to watch call the Midwife and Mr Selfridge I recorded now. BBL

What a great day.I have had the patio door open.Plus a few windows.Hopefully that might have got rid of some of the smell of gloss paint :-D.... Just as I sat down here I looked up and saw a little face looking in at me from the windowsill under the feeder...The Squirrel :-| :-|..it did look funny but scarpered as soon as I made a move :-D
Oh Gill I would love a camera box :-D..Maybe I could put it on my birthday list later this year :-D :-D..I hope you manage to get it put up soon..Can't help on how far away it should be though.I imagine just somewhere high enough and quiet and safe. Fingers crossed your car will pass the MOT second time around.
Ann what a lovely meal you both had..I like the sound of the main dish :-D
Burglar Llama :-D :-D..Love it Ann.he does come out with some gems doesn't he :-D :-D
Hannah has a stinking cold.So good job she isn't going out tonight for her birthday. The girls are doing a Birthday Meal at home.On Saturday though there are 10 of them going out for a meal to celebrate her Birthday so hopefully the cold will have cleared up by then.
Frank of course we are best friends.I would still like to pay for postage though (even though I know you won't let me) :-D..I kept saying it was a Catch up box didn't I ..On Demand it is of course. Gill I often watch catch up things on my laptop in bed.But sometimes it is better to see certain programmes on a proper big screen.
Oh Mel I will be thinking of you tomorrow having your teeth out.Hopefully if they are so loose they will just slip out easily .I cannot bare that impression thing in my mouth and all that gungy stuff..It makes me gag terribly, and then like Ann said how horrible it is when the dentist tries to get the darned thing out ..It feels like it's going to take all the teeth with it :-S :-S :-S..I get quite panicky when I have had to have impressions done.
I have given our shower unit a good clean this afternoon....The muck that came out from the runner bits was totally GROSS.Made me feel quite sick....It just goes to show I need to do it more often.
I have washing still out that needs to come in so better get it in now.I bet it is damp now though :-S Still no Mandy. Cooee Mandy !!!!! are you there?

Evening all,
I'am here :-D just been catching up with lots of jobs .
Happy Birthday to Hannah oh it's rotten having a cold on your birthday still she has a few days to get right so she can enjoy her meal out with her friends .
Happy Birthday to OH Ann ,you had a nice lunch ,it sounded really tasty and you still made room for a little pud :-D :-D
Son and DIL came this afternoon ,it's the first time she has walked down to here on a school run, she has really been quite sore and had some big lumps come up near her scar but they have now gone down , i got a smile from Lewis this afternoon ,he's been poorly with a chesty cough, the doctor thought it was just a virus .
I gave son and Chelsea a lift to the dentist this afternoon ,Chelsea has an adult tooth coming through and it's not pushing the baby tooth out properly ,the adult tooth is slightly twisted so they are sending her to the hospital for them to have a look and see if it should be left or if they should take the baby tooth out .
I expect you will be glad when tomorrow is over Mel, then hopefully you will be all sorted with the dentist appointments .
Oh i'am just watching the news and seeing some one had a mouse delivered with their shopping !!! it was in one of the shopping bags and hopped out in the kitchen !!!!
Are your eyes better Ann ? i like the 'burglar aLlama' :-D :-D :-D

Love the Cake Ann :-) Love the pic of Lewis too Mandy:-) ..He was probably thinking "Oh I can't be bothered to smile.I'm so tired" .His hair has grown so much !!
What a pity Chelsea has to go to the hospital about her teeth. They will most likely look to see if hanging on to Baby one will cramp the new one coming through..Hannah had to have loads out to make room for Adult teeth. Dinner done and all cleared away now.So I will see if there is anything worth watching on TV.I think Chris might be off to bed soon as he has painted all day and is feeling the effects :-S..That shoulder of his :-(
I have to take Fitz into town in the morning to pick his OH's car up.Then we will be off to Northampton for lunch and cinema ...I think the film is called "A strange Life"

Poor Lewis Mandy, he's just got over one thing and now it's a nasty cough, poor thing. My word he's looking a big boy to carry about in the latest photo and looks older than his age. I thought about Lewis when I read Frank's post about his hair being all fluffy after being wet. I bet Chelsea won't be wanting to have her baby tooth out!
What a shock it would be to have a mouse jump out of your shopping! :-0 Then there would be the tricky job of getting it out of the kitchen as well! :-0
The swelling around my eyes has nearly gone down now and it's stopped itching, but the rough patches show up more now and have gone a reddish brown. It still looks as if I've had a black eye! I put some moisturising cream around them today, but I have a feeling the dry patches are becoming scabs. :-S It's a good job my glasses hide some of it.
I hope Hannah will be on the mend by the meal on Saturday.......nothing worse than not being able to taste a lovely meal. We saw the trailer of that film when we went to the cinema last week Jane and thought it might be good. It hasn't arrived here yet.
Liz is hoping to be back on the thread tomorrow. Poor Ian has been poorly a couple of days, feeling unwell and with a high temperature so they had the duty doctor call and see him. She said things are much better today but they both feel washed out and need a good sleep.

Back again! after a bit of a traumatic time ! To cut a long story short, I had to get the duty doctor out to OH on Sunday evening, as he was running a temp of 101f ( old money!!) and was feeling nauseous, and clearly had sleeping sickness!! The out of hours were brilliant, absolutely first class, which was fantastic. Anyhow, after a change of pills and more sleep(!) things this morning are a lot better, so I think now all will be well. OH's GP rang yesterday to check how he was, and another sample is required on Tuesday!! What a performance!! Mel, We finally(!) watched Poldark yesterday evening, and really enjoyed it! Like you we were a bit sceptical, but it was pretty good and the scenery was beautiful, but then Cornwall is!! We are watching Sir A. C.Doyle, but are not that sure!!! Probably need to persevere!! In C.T.M (also watched yesterday!) when the word thalidomide was uttered, we both looked at each other and said ' Oh no'! more episodes in the making methinks!! Jane, I've managed to download ITV catchup onto my Kindle!! I did it onto my laptop and low and behold it was on my Kindle as well, and seems to work ok!! Can't seem to do channel 4 though!! so am stuck with the laptop for that!!

Morning All, Evening Kim
Been busy helping OH put up some copies of old photo's of my Ancestors on the front bedroom wall which I use as my own study, where I do my family history, and use the computer, it took a bit of doing as I wanted them in a fancy display and he had to screw them on a board and nail them on the wall, but I am very happy with the effect.
Going out to coffee this morning and then it's off to the dentist this afternoon for a filling and clean up, hope I won't be in too much discomfort.

Morning all
Bright sunshine again here today. OH is outside cutting the grass we have got a viewing on Saturday.
Thanks Mel for all your help, I now have all 6 children. I would never of found them with the wrong spelling's on their surnames even if FMP had been open for a little longer. I hope all goes well at the dentist.
Love the cake picture Ann. Yes we were lucky with the bird box and camera, they are normally quite expensive but we found this one at Ald* and it was only £40....Bargain.
Lewis looks lovey Mandy, he's getting big now. Sorry to hear he's not well, hope he gets well soon. <3 Poor Chelsea, it's bad enough having new teeth come through but when the baby ones haven't fell out first it must be horrible for her. Hope they can sort it out at the hospital.
What a shock that must of been having a mouse delivered with the shopping, then having it run around the kitchen. Yuk....
Hope Ian's feeling a bit better today. It'll be nice to see Liz back on here. There seems to be a lot of illness's going around for everyone at the moment. Hope everyone's fit and well soon
We are going out today to visit OH's mum she lives about 5 miles away. We were going to go at the weekend but OH said if we do a long run in the car it might sort out the emissions so he's decided to go to his mums today then call in the garage on the way home so they can check the emissions again. If that works then we can book the car in for the other two small jobs to be done and get our MOT.
It all depends on the journey today and weather it works. The man at the garage said we could pay £400 for him to try and bring the emissions down but also said there were no guarantees so OH doesn't want to waste any money until he's tried giving it a long run first. Fingers crossed it works and we have the MOT before the old one runs out on Monday.
I don't know...... we're having a right year of it so far and it's only March :-D :-D What with the window, the boiler and now the car. Thankfully the boiler seems to be back to normal and the window's been done. Just the car to go.
Sorry to hear Hannah is full of cold Jane, hope she feels better for her birthday meal on Saturday <3. Enjoy your day out with Fitz.
Sounds like you're on the mend now Ann with your eyes. Hopefully the moisturising cream will work for you and help with the dryness.
Glad to hear you have cleared the air with your neighbour Frank. At least he understands now and you can be friends. ;-) ;-).
OH has just finished the back lawn and won't be long on the front so I'd better go and get ready to go out. Good job he decided to do them before we went out as it look as if we might get a bit of rain. It's gone very cloudy now. BBL <3

OMG a mouse in the shopping !!!!!!! Just the thought is giving me goosebumps.
I bet your photos look great in your little room Fiona.A perfect place by the sound it as that is where you do the family history :-D..Good luck ant the dentist
Also Mel I hope you get on fine having your toothy pegs out today.
I have been watching a hedgerow disappear so fast :-(.The digger is hard at work.I took a pic out of my bedroom window just now..I bet by lunchtime it will be a different view :-S :-S..One of the trees gone is one a Red Kite often sits in..He won't be able to sit there now :-( :-(..We think that is where a new road is going to be :-S
I worry about the Badgers Setts in the field the other side..What will happen to them when they start digging there. Are they protected? Will they have to be moved ? or will they just be bulldozed up?
I'm just going to get a cardi and then pick Fitz up to go and get the car from the garage then i will be home to hang washing out and do a few jobs before going to Northampton.
Oh Liz.Poor Ian.He must have felt dreadful with that temp...Was it just not the right type of Antibiotics he had first time around? That is what happened to Hannah when she went to India. But once on the right course of tabs right as rain.. Hopefully there will be a huge improvement now <3

Morning all, evening Kim,
Tony called over the fence yesterday to say the back was falling out of a bird box. When I lifted it down "IT FEEL TO PIECES" in my hand. It's made of that conteboard. that you can't nail together. I don't think I have enough Supper Glue to put it back together. So will buy another Proper wood one.
Glad Ian has improved Liz, what a worry. :-( :-(
You don't want to be shut up in a Cinema on a day like today Jane. By the way that little box is it square and about 3 1/2 inches square. If so I will get it in the post ASAP.
Ros is in they garden working, so I had better get my Ar## out there and help.
Will catch up on posts later.
