We had one the other day Frank telling us that our computer was running too slowly!!! I said Ian was a computer and engineer, and whoever it was rang straight off!! You can have some fun with these calls!! One of the very few things Ian gets iffy with me about (and stands his ground!!) is me lifting and carrying heavy things on my own. He's always been the same! but now we're older we tend to give each other a hand and do it that way. That's why we now trail round the supermarket together, years ago I wouldn't have entertained him always coming with me although he did try on occasions! But now, although I hate to admit it, it easier with two. Darby and Joan or what!!

Not upsetting the new neighbour already Frank !!! :-| :-| He probably went in and said to his wife "we have a right one there " LOL
I did get a glimpse of Jeremy K as I ironed a shirt.....2,000 men :-0 :-0 and dogging too.She looked a bit like an old dog .She walked of the stage a bit oddly...I wonder why ;-) :-D
Thats good Ian will start the antibiotics quickly now Liz.I reckon by Sunday he will be feeling the benefit .
I have just got the car back. All running straight .Lets hope it stays that way now.I got them to replace my windscreen wipers too as they made a terrible scraping noise on the window when they were on.It has been valeted and washed too :-D.Not that the inside needed anything cleaning really. Liz those car wash people at our Tes** are brilliant.I haven't used them often but when I have they have done a great job. They don't come and ask if you need a car wash(like they do in Sainsb***.it is a proper set up little company.
I just noticed that new little speed signs are going up along our road.It looks like it is 30mph until August..Probably to do with all the lorries coming and going at the top with the building of the new school..I can't see many people sticking to 30 down here.it was dropped from 60 to 40 some years ago which did make a big difference. But you still get idiots thinking it is a race track. We often have the Camera Van tucked away further down the road nowadays.it is the Motorbikes that are often the biggest culprits.
Chris is miffed .One of the old Hoe Handles has woodworm lol.He has been cleaning and sharpening the tools down the barn today.
Mel yes I saw Shirl on FB .I think it was her sons FB...The Nieces didn't know she was in the Limo .You should have seen the hugs and tears :-D :-D
Lamb Steaks with herbs,Rosti Potatoes ,Asparagus,Peas and green beans for us tonight.Chris says he is starving. But I want to wait until James has gone before I start cooking. He will get in from work ,change ,chuck whatever he is taking in the car and then will be off.He said he and Jake will get something to eat on the way to Wales. They are only going for tonight and tomorrow day as he says he has work to do on Sunday...But I can imagine he will be totally Cream Crackered by the time he gets home Sat night.
Tomorrow is looking like it is going to be a nice day temperature wise,so I think it will be all garden stuff.I need to get rid of all the rotten leaves that have built up outside the front of the house.Maybe empty a few big pots of dead plants. I got 3 nets of logs free today to replace the wet ones we had delivered.
Ann Thanks for the Maps link.I popped down to Fitz to see if he managed to work it out.He hadn't even opened his emails from yesterday .So we sat and managed to work out what to do :-D :-D.He thinks you are wonderful :-D :-D

Evening all,
It's been a lovely sunny day ,i did some tidying up in the back garden and it was nice in the sun,my honeysuckle was hanging right over the little garden so i cut a lot off , i noticed it even had some flowers on already . Did some sweeping up as when i moved some pots there were loads of dead leaves behind them ,Toby laid out for a while in the sun but i think he felt chilly and he soon wanted to go in doors ,he really feels the cold now poor old boy . I think tomorrow should be a warmer day so i think i'll go out the front and tidy out there , i did go out and have a look the other day ,when i came in i found i had stood in some cats muck !! so it looks like they are back using my garden as their toilet again !!
Oh i would have loved to have seen our Shirl <3
Yes Ann i have been watching the Sewing Bee ,i think the right two went out last night ,didn't think much of the things they did with the wet suits though !!
Oh that's good your OH has got some antibiotics Liz, hopefully they will do the trick and he'll soon be feeling better .

Gawd Mandy Cat poo stinks :-S :-S :-S...Naughty pussies using your garden. How old is Toby now.He must be 14/15? Bless him feeling chilly.I bet he sleeps a lot more these days.
Liz how organised are you!!!! Table set for breakfast already....I'm afraid the only time the table here is set for breakfast is if we have visitors. We just tend to get our own things. But growing up Breakfast was an important meal and we would all sit at the table.Dad would have Bacon and Eggs maybe a bit of Black Pudding,to set him up for a days work .My Sister and I would have Cereal and toast.Oh dad had porridge to start. I loved Cornflakes with a Banana sliced up on them :-D
Dinner ready

Tell me about it Jane ,luckily i noticed it before i wiped my feet on the mat !! :-0
Toby was 14 in Feb and yes all he does is sleep these days ,he's not eating as much as he use to either ,not many walks now but he does like to wander round the garden .
My sister was telling me the other day that her son ( the one who found his dog dead one morning ) is having another dog a little Spaniel ,he's been and picked one, he's a little brown and white one ,but they are only just over a week old so it will be a few weeks before he has him home .

Been cutting down the clematis just outside the back door to the left. Oh then said you have just cut your windbreak down. It does stop the wind blowing round the corner a bit. I stayed out there quite late as I had let the bantams out. All shut in now and came in for a cuppa and did a hot cross bun each and oh said do you realize it is 20 to 7. I had'nt noticed the time. I was going to cook a small leg of lamb for tonight but oh suggested fried egg sarnies so I agreed and we will have the lamb tomorrow.
I am pleased the test came back clear Liz as I bet you two are as well. Should clear up now with antibiotics. something we can never get from our doc!!
I ge those kind of calls Frank about our records show you have had a car accident in the last 2 years. Or something like that and I just say no and put the phone down. I hav'nt got time to let them talk and they always seem to call just at the wrong moment.....How do they know??

East Enders on, So I'm off out of the way.!!
No Jane, I just wanted to make my point that the fence was nothing to do with me. Did James get off alright ?? He will be cream crackered after that Journey. I remember the A 5 to North Wales was always a bit slow with heavy traffic
Liz your flowers look nice in that stone tub. Ros did a chicken curry tonight, it was a bit on the hot side, but I enjoyed mine..
We are both suffering with back ache tonight. I suppose as today was our first work day in the garden, we are feeling it. It will get better the more we do.
Jane a lot of my old tools has woodworm, it doesn't bother me. I can always buy a new staff if they break. The modern ones have plastic handles. You know what to buy him for Christmas. :-D :-D :-D Any sign of the fox Mel, I hope you get it sooner than later. The poor chickens won't know if they are coming or going.
Bear Gryles on at 0.00 pm. I like the people in that and what they get up to.
Signing off for tonight. as when that programme finishes I will be off for a read and Radio.

Mandy that will be lovely for your Nephew to have a new Pup :-D :-D.Johnny's Mum has got a little Spaniel now.I think it will be a great comfort for her. I'm watching Crufts at the moment.think my Sister went yesterday ,and i think she is going again tomorrow. She loves it and has been going there for years now.
Cor Mel I haven't had a fried egg sarnie since I don't know when.Did you have yours in nice thick white bread?I think that is just the best :-D...I don't really eat bread now as I find some upsets my tum.I might just have a tiny bit now and then.Sourdough bread seems to suit me best.Or the bread that Chris does in the Breadmaker seems ok.maybe that fact there are no preservatives or additives make a difference.
I was just talking to Chris thinking he was out in the kitchen........He is in bed !!!!!!.Never even told me he was going :-S.he is out for the count.Must be the day in the garden that has done him in. I'm going to stay up and watch Gogglebox at 9 even though I am recording it.Then it is off to bed to read my Kindle book :-D

No Jane, I'm not organized at all!! but we only have toast and coffee for breakfast, so it's just two of everything , and only takes 30 secs to put on the table!! I'm in bed, and Ian is in the bathroom about to come to bed too, so early night for both of us. We shall watch a bit of TV, then hopefully, we shall both have a good night!!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, SQUASHED TOMATOES ANS STEW, BREAD AND BUTTER IN THE GUTTER, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU " GOD BLESS YOU MY LOVE HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY WITH THE FAMILY XXXXXX
Good Morning Friends, Evening Kim,
Had another good night last night, must be all the fresh air. We both ACHE all over this morning. I have aching mussels I didn't know I had :-D :-D Another lovely morning, but with that South Westerly wind, that has a nip in it :-( :-( So no shorts and sunbathing today.!!!
Will be HOME ALONE again today. Ros and Carolyn are going to the Cinema then on to get some lunch and shopping at Morriso#s I will expect her when I see her. lol
The more I see these adverts for Cats and Dogs, the more I think about getting one. BUT would it be fair on it, as when we go away it will be relying on someone else to look after it. They can be such a tie. <3 <3
How's it feel Talking to yourself Jane ?? I don't think I have ever done that apart from when we have had words. (MOST NIGHTS) LOL
It's Martine's OHs 65 birthday today. She has dropped him off with a load of his friends at the Railway Station. I wonder if they have gone to Gloucester, as Northampton "SAINTS" are playing there today, and they are all MAD RUGBY FANS Lets hope they have a good day out.
I had my toast and MULUKA HONEY this morning, very nice it was too.
Ros is just off out.

Morning all and evening Kim,
Sunny again but I slept late so hav'nt been out yet!!!! to see if it is cold or not.
If I don't have to get up in the night I wake earlier but if I do I wake late. It is so annoying. I wish he would wake me at a reasonable time. Seem I get cross when I can't sleep and I also get cross when I can't wake!! Visious circle comes to mind.....
