Good evening all

Richard and I have finally finished filling up the skip so have been really busy since Sunday, we have cleared a lot of stuff from the remaining 3 sheds, the garage, the large walk in cupboard on the landing and Richard turfed out some stuff from his bedroom we have managed to fill a 17yd skip. It's amazing how much junk we have accumulated over the years. One morning about 9.30 I looked out of the landing window and there was 2 chaps going through it all and taking away some of the things and loading it in a white transit van, they did us a favour giving us some more room as we live in a cul-de-sac quite away from the main road they couldn't have found us by accident.

I haven't read any posts yet but I did see Jane has Janice staying over so hope they enjoy each other's company .

Richard was contacted by the Red Arrows asking if they could use one of his photos that he took last Saturday at The Battle Prom it was one of his photos on instagram as well as Facebook.

Bright and sunny here today but I think rain is expected later.

It sounds like you've had a good clear out Anne. It does feel good when you do that doesn't it? Weren't those men cheeky going through your skip, never mind like you said it did you a favour and gave you some much needed room by the sounds of it. How nice of the Red Arrows to ask for one of Richard's photo's, he must be so proud of his work.

Poor OH broke one of his teeth last night (not on the cake I made LOL) so had to go to the hospital to see if anything could be done, they gave him a number to ring, the fella gave him some advice and told him to ring back this morning, so he has an emergency appointment at 11am. He was told they probably won't do much as it sounds like he has an infection so he'll probably only be given some antibiotics and told to see a dentist on Monday. The only problem is he's not registered at a dentist anymore. Luckily we have one at the end of our road so he'll have to register there. He's in quite a bit of pain so I'm hoping something can be done today. He spoke to a woman this morning and she said if it's an infection they won't take the tooth out, so he'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I doubt he'll feel like doing the rest of the flagging or digging the border in the front, but then knowing OH he'll probably find something to do rather than resting.

Going to ring mum now to see if her friend needs a three piece suite. Next door is giving her's away. My mum's friend is moving into her place on the 20th so it'll do her a good turn if she wants it and next door's daughter said she can keep hold of it until then for her. I thought it would be easier for her to use the removal van to pick it up on her moving day. I'm just going to ask mum for her friend's phone number and pass it on to my neighbours daughter, they can sort it out between them then.

I've got a bit of a sore shoulder today, it started yesterday, it's probably from all the heavy lifting Sandra and I did getting the new bed around here the other day, so I'm going to rest it today and take it easy. Hopefully it'll feel better soon.

Dull here today and it dos'nt look promissing for the rest ofthe day and its that fine rain.

Only have to do the shop today and egg delivery to Em next door and I have picked her some blackberries out of the garden as I know she wants to make a blackberry and apple crumble.

I shall finish off another toadstool brooch today. I only have to stuff it and sew the top up and put the gills on it.

What a surprise I had this morning. I opened my Emails. and there was one from my energy supplier saying my direct debit was GOING UP to £239.00 per month. At the moment I pay £70.00 !!! I've replied to them to sort it out PRONTO or I will cancel my D/D.

Sorry about the RUMBA It was suppose to say REMEMBER. I told you this thing has a mind of it's own.

Sorry to hear about OHs tooth Gill. Lets hope they can do something.

I did hear from the Drs yesterday, and went for my X RAY I will contact my GP in two weeks. I then went on to have my hair cut, then a bite to eat. When we were leaving Ros wanted the loo. I got up from the table and left my expensive LEATHER JACKET and Telephone on the back of my chair. It was only when I got home that I realised it.
Tony uses this pub to watch the football. As Man Utd were playing I asked him to collect it. Which he did. They had found it and put it in the office. SO WHO'S A LUCKY BOY.

Good clear out the Anne, it's surprising what you collect over the years.

You were lucky your jacket was'nt picked up by someone, you lucky boy. So all nice and tidy around the head now too. When will you get the results of your x ray?

Frank we had a letter saying that the leccy was going up to 23 point something a unit are you sure you read it right?

Pleased to see you heard from the doctor Frank. Good luck with your X-ray results. You were very lucky your jacket and phone weren't picked up by the next people to sit at the table. Nice of Tony to collect it for you.
That's over three times the amount you were paying before for your energy, hope you get it sorted soon. Our water bill arrived this morning and it's going up almost by half again, it's no joke is it?

It's gone cold here too Mel, the wind has picked up and it's now very cloudy so I expect rain soon.

OH had his tooth taken out, he can't do any heavy lifting for a while so we're going to watch some programmes together while Sandra is watching her's in the other room.

My mum has just left. Her friend didn't want the three piece suite as it won't fit into her new flat but OH took mum around next door to take a look at it and she's going to have it instead. I will let the neighbours daughter know tomorrow and OH is going to have a word with one of his friends about taking it to mum's.

My shoulder is still hurting, I've taken some pain killers but they haven't worked, if it doesn't improve soon I'll get the doctor to take a look at it. I think I might of strained a muscle, I'm finding it very hard to pick anything up, even a cup of tea, so that's not good.

Off to watch some programmes now, see you all later.

Thats two people , no its not thats three people had to have a tooth out on here, Ros, Chris and Glynn.

Still raining here today.

Oh's brother called in yesterday with his wife so that took up most of the afternoon till 3.30pm. His wife was itching to go so off they went then.

I did finish a toadstool and started another last night the same shape as the first one I did. I may keep the first one for myself just to have it for reference.

Hope Gill's oh feels better today.

I bet Jane and Janice had a really good chin wag yesterday and I think Larry is picking Janice up today. Hope she had a nice relaxing time with Jane as she works really hard with the grandchildren.

MORNING ALL, It's not a good one by any means, DAMPING in the air and very chilly.

Veg all done for dinner tonight. Just the Yorkshire to make and the gravy.

Simon and Sally called in from her Hospital trip. Her heart is now fully recovered, so everyone is happy. Ros got Rolls and plates full of sea food for them, which they soon cleared with a COT. They then went "SCRUMPING" down the garden. Bag full of Apples, Runners , courgettes and seed pods from some flowers. We had their company for a couple of hours, which was nice.

I won't know the X Ray results for a couple of weeks Gill, then I will know if I need a replacement. What with My hip, knee and thumb. I think I am falling apart at the seams. I think it's call OLD AGE.

I rang my sister this morning, she is in a poor old way.. Her left hand is completely useless. Her thumb is trapped between the palm of her hand and her four fingers, which are curled round her hand. This is all down to the STROKE and ARTHRITIS. She is almost totally blind. I just don't know what I can do to help. Paul her youngest son dos almost everything for her, is away this weekend in the New Forest as a Fathers Day present from his daughters. I expect i's a golf weekend.

I tried ringing my SIL but no reply, I expect she is at her daughters for a break.
I rang my nephew John, regarding the invite to their 50th Wedding anniversary party. I asked if Ted's wife and son were going. YES he said. It was then I told him we would not be attending. As I had promised myself that I would "RIP DOMONIC'S HEAD OFF his shoulders if I ever meet him AGAIN. That threat still stands. I will never forget or forgive the way he treated me, when my brother died.

So Mum is going to get a new three piece suit then Gill. So it's not going to the tip, but I expect her old one will. lol lol.

HOWS the LOCK JAW Jan, ?? lol lol. I would think by the time Larry picks Janice up tomorrow, you both would have put the world to right. Hows Chris coping ??

Will try to pop back this evening until then have a nice afternoon.

Quite on here , we've had family here and have been busy getting some jobs done so that's why i haven't been around ,there was a little rain in the night and a few spits today but it didn't come to any thing .

Lovely photo's Mel of your family of Pheasants and i couldn't get over how many wasps were in the trap !! i thought we had a lot in our little wasp pot but that lot of yours was amazing .
You've been busy making your brooches they all look lovely .

Hope your shoulder is better today Gill and OH's mouth is not to sore after having his tooth out.

I bet Jane and Janice have had a good weekend together with plenty of laughs ,it will hopefully take Janice's mind off her op that's coming up.

That was nice to have Simon and Sally round for a visit Frank and good news that Sally's heart is ok that must have been a relief for her .

I keep meaning to say about Colin's sister the one that went into the home , she is now able to sit on the side of the bed ,they are taking her to Dereham Hospital so she can have some Physio using the bars to try and help her walk again they did say they didn't think she would ever walk again so it will be wonderful if she can get to her feet and walk again .

O I hope they can help her Mandy that would be really great. It would mean so much to her.

I thought you must be busy with the children.

Its rained here all day. The grass has greened up a lot.

I have been on the telephone since 8.15 to my Gas and Electric supplier. The person sitting next to the woman I was speaking with, had a voice that boomed out over everyone in the department. I even asked how she worked in such an environment ?? You get used to it she said. Anyway they ar getting someone to come and read the meters, and arrange to have them read every three months.

Horrible morning here again. it's hardly got light. we have the table light on. Another bad night for sleep again. What with the worry of our utility bill and my aching BODY. My neck, shoulder, hip snd knee are very uncomfortable . I will be glad when I can get these sorted out. With not sleeping properly, I feel permantly tired and irritable.POOR ROS.

It's this afternoon that Janic goes back isn't it Jane. I bet you have had a great weekend. I hope so anyway. xxx

I see h rain has started, so that's it for the day. We haven't got anything to go out for, so it won't bother us.

Bright and sunny here and it's quite muggy ,I think we should have showers later.

Frank you are in a way with all these aches and pains I hope they can soon sort you out .
That better with her your utility bills you'll know where you are and what to pay when it's been read .

We're off to our sons soon he is going to order some things for us off Amazon, I'm not that sure of ordering things , its much easier to get him to do it and then we give him the money.

Morning Frank and Mandy.

We have cloudy sky but it dry at the mo and quite bright to what it was yesterday with the rain all day.

Iv'e done nothing than blow my nose this morning. I hope I am not in for a summer cold as they can be hard to get rid of and with no docs to pop into close by it would mean another 20 mile round trip.

Oh is out in the garden somewhere, I expect diong his pond filters.

Hope you get what you want from Amazon Mandy. I buy lots of things from there for my craft. Its easy once you know how to do it. Oh watched me the first couple of times but I get lots of craft stuff from them and even bought a cotton loose top the other week for £8.

Afternoon all

Raining here today, I noticed the tomato plants had blight so I've taken all the tomatoes off and thrown the plants away, then sterilised the pots. I've also potted up a plant my neighbour gave me, the poor plant was dry as a bone and in a 2 inch pot, it's now been watered and put in a larger pot so hopefully it'll be happier. I still have to take apart the second part of the bed base ready to use for the new planters. I did one part yesterday and it took me hours. So that'll keep me busy later.

Poor OH is in so much pain with this infection he has where the tooth was taken out, what a job I've had trying to get him a dental appointment. He went to the one at the bottom of our road but he's not registered there so they wouldn't seen him. I then rang the one we were all registered at years ago but couldn't get him an appointment for 2 WEEKS in the end I rang the emergency number I rang at the weekend and they managed to find him an emergency appointment at the first dentist he tried this morning. It's a sit and wait appointment but at least he knows he'll see someone today. All his face is swollen and when I rang the emergency number the woman said she can't understand why the dentist didn't give him some antibiotics when she saw him on Saturday as she knew he had an infection. I think it's a crafty way of charging OH again for the second emergency slot. At least, hopefully, he'll have some antibiotics later today and will soon be feeling better.

I'm going to make another cake today as it'll give OH something soft and filling to eat. At the moment he can only eat soft bread and soup so he's starving.

I haven't read the posts yet so hope everyone is okay. I'll catch up with them later as I need to nip to the shops for some eggs and castor sugar before OH has to go out.

Oh your poor OH Gill, I would think he would be pleased to see anyone, rather than be in pain like this. Hope things improve for him today.

Mel for what it's worth I had been sneezing a lot more these passed few days. Do you think it's something in the air. ???

A lot of the things Ros or I want, I get off Ebay, there is very little that you can't get. I do have an account with both, so I do use Amazon when needed.

The rain soon stopped and the sun is nice and warm now, I have just made Ros a COT. She is busy in the front garden.

All I have done today is get dinner ready for tonight and feed the tomato 's. Oh and stewed down some Rhubarb, which Ros will have after her dinner tonight. I don't eat sweets, so it never bothers me.

Back to my book and who knows a few zzzz/
