George, I'm not just replacing the valve this time (or even the ballcock), I want the whole system out and a different type put in because I'm sick of it going wrong. I've had enough floods!!

Yes I think I gave the people the Photo's, they come from a book called Benwick Bygones, I donated the photo's to them when they were making a History of Benwick.

Hello
I have not been on for two days as I lost all connections, first my printer packed up. my son came over and did it for me it was a lose USB lead,
thenlate afternoon I tried to send some emils nohing moved I left it running for an hour and nothing happened. I tried the interent nothing happened there either so I phoned my daughter to tell her not to worry if I didnt reply to her emails or she didnt get any from me./ I phoned my son and told him the same,. he asked me to try different things over the phonet I said there is no running time at all. I did a test on the rota in the end he said I will come on my way home from work, he got here at 4 and was still here at 5.30 trying different things he phoned Orange for help things he had already tried in the end he examined the filter on the phone line and that was it so I am back on .

evening all,

Hope everyone has had a brilliant day in the lovely warm sunshine.

Went to Ikea today, wanted to get a few things to complement my newly decorated living room.
Got myself a nice rug for the wooden floor, sort of beige and light brown, got a couple of indoor plants, don't ask what kind, no idea :-D wasn't my idea..LOL.

Rita, good to hear you have got your computer and printer sorted. :-)

George :-) :-)

Mo in Kent Report 27 Sep 2011 19:12

Oh George surely the plants had a name on them. It would have been where they tell you how to care for the plant.
I suppose you could always give them nick names, like gert and daisy. lol
The colouring of the rug sounds good, those colours blend in with whatever colour paint you chose,as they are neutral.
Mo ;-)

I've never heard of Westfield Shelly! We're there lots of shops.
Exeter Guildhall and Princesshay is a bit small.
I'm not really a shoppyholic. The biggest shopping centre I've seen is the Metro up in Newscastle.

Cath hope you have a lovely holiday, it will be nice to go this time of the year.

George hope your being good ?not eating too manys scones, lol

Stephen I did see a programnme on preview about the SAS it was quite interesting, I saw the diary about them.there was also someone on TV News speaking about it, he had been in the SAS,.
There are so many groups we owe a lot to that are never mentioned in the Media.

How do you look for a photo of one of your ancestors on Ancesrty .co then ?Pauline.

I have a bit of a headache I think it was all this worry about the printer and the Computer, I did miss it and wondered how I could let anyone on FF know.
and my subs are due next month for the GR.

Hi All,

Yes Mo ....I do need glasses.....NEW ones LOL as these are a bit cranky, hmm good excuse ;-)

George ,,,,I knew that was picked by a woman my Pete wouldn't have a clue what to choose nothing he suggests goes with anything !! LOL

Its only me that's tells him what needs replacing, I'm working on a new kitchen .....might take a while but I get there in the end .he would be living in a museum if it weren't for me ... :-D

Now where is our Stevey boy ? or has he been in today ...I cant turn over this page because I'm typing on it ..LOL

Agatha........I have looked ......but it seems that your Laura has disappeared into thin air ! now why she's not with her Francis & Lydia in the 1891 census I cant understand she could have only been 5 or 6yrs of age....I wonder if she spent the night with one of her older sisters or brothers as they were much older than her and probably married in 1891

that's another evening ... LOL

I'm off to bed now to watch BB.

Shelly I wish I could go to that new shopping centre ......did they have any nice tops !! LOL ;-)

PatriciaAnn

PatriciaAnn Report 27 Sep 2011 22:21

Marilyn, You've got a nice big shopping centre! Plymouth :-D The fact that the football team isn't doing very well is neither here nor there ;-)
Been watching Poirot. Going to bed now.
Hope your headache goes Rita. Personally I find a good sleep is the best cure.
