Same friend & her HO coming back to my house for dinner also my sister & her OH ......six of us are having home made curry !! :-)

Morning everyone
what a lovely morning it is the sun is up in the blue sky, and it is very warm.
I went to bed just after 9 as I had such a headache, I woke at 1.30 I heard what sounded like a bang so got up to check the computer in the front room. having all the standby lights is a bit errie, I checked around with a torche to see if there was anything not right ? . found nothing so went back to bed managed to go back to sleep after along while.

I looked out of my bedroom window this morning to see what the gardeners had done yesterday and noticed they had cleared the weeds but there were two Rape plants growing, so I went and pulled them up .
I dont think they could have known what they were, thats three plants so far.they are new gardeners employed by Anchor who own the land.

then a few minutes ago I had a call from my doctors surgery to say my warfarin and thyroid blood test had been cancelled for tomorrow but I am to go next Tuesday morning, the nurse who does them (travels from the hospital ) is ill.
so next week I have those to be done on Tuesday and wednesday my flu injection.

anyone had their flu injection yet ?

They have a great big shopping centre in White City, many of the shops are top ones from London.. when I went with my sister last year we got lost twice.

Morning Rita
Our surgery has a walk in clinic for the flu jabs and it is sat 1st Oct and sat 15th Oct. So I hope to go and get mine done this week so I might just beat you LOL

The walk was good. Might go out this afternoon with hubby round Windsor, Great Park or the Polo Grounds. Then our daughter is coming after work to take her lurcher for a walk too, so I'll be all walked out today. Gym tomorrow. Must shift some of this extra weight I am carrying.

Hubby is sitting in the sun on our patio. Getting into practice for next week. But he has a sore throat and cough, so I am keeping away I don't want it !!! Could be cos he is anxious about leaving work.

Morning all, we're still waiting for this good weather to happen. It's a little brighter than yesterday but nothing like it's supposed to be........... maybe it'll be better later.

I got a phone call about 5pm yesterday to say someone was going to call to give my son his flu injection........... then 15 minutes later the nurse turned up and gave it to him. I was amazed because I hadn't even got round to asking about it, I usually have to phone about a dozen times before I can get someone out to do it. The nurse said they're starting to give it out at the clinic next Monday but she wanted to get all the vulnerable patients done first.

The only way you'll find a photo on Ancestry is if someone has put one on their tree. When you type the person's name in and all the records come up you have to scroll down the list to see if any photos are there. If it's a public tree you can see the photo straight away but if it's a private tree you have to ask to see it.

I've found a couple of my ancestors' photos on public trees. My tree's private but loads of people have photos from it now because they just drop me a line and ask for them.

George, those plants were a good choice, Marilyn was right though, it sounded a bit tasteful for a man to have chosen them. ;-) ;-) Just as well you have a lady friend!!

the pluss side is there is a primark so you no were to find me LOL

I don't mind going to those shopping malls now and again, makes a break from being in a small village.
I go to a Costco now and again, thats not bad, but must admit most of the malls are boring, same old same shops.
