Pauline
I do wish your sister all the very best there seems to be more cancer about these days eveyone you speak to has or knows someone with Cancer when I go to the cancer hospital to see my comnsultant the room is crowed young and elderly.
They keep telling you the Heart attcks are the biggest killers but I wonder where they put Cancer on that list,
There are a couple of machines they have installed in private hospitals that are suppose to be the tops and yet the NHS has none of these to save peoples lives or help find the cancer before it comes non operatable.
It makes me wonder where does the money given to cancer research go too I know they have saved many peoples lives with things they have discovered and thank god for that.. b ut these special machines save people going through chemo by a special Lazar directs to the cancer spot.
I was told these machines cost ,millions the Goverment waste this amount every year.
when it could be saving peoples lives.

Hope you have all had a good day, Rita I hope your foot eases and that your son in law can manage to eat soon, poor man.

To all those with poorly relatives, I wish you strength to help support them and for them to get well if at all possible.

I had a lovely Mother's Day and am off to the counsellor again today.

I will catch up with you all again tonight I hope. O.h. working from 2 or 3pm till midnight so more time for phone calls lol Someone is away on a course so he has to help cover the hours. And he will be cycling home today at past midnight - he will be a miserable devil when he gets in if his legs play up, we both did a lot of walking at Cromer on Sunday with my son.
I will be tired too for the counselling, that's the problem with having it on Monday, if I go out and do too much on a Sunday which can happen in spring and summer, I need Monday to get over it with the cfs, have to pace myself. Am going to ask the counsellor if she starts doing Tuesdays too to change my day.

Take care everyone,

Lizx

morning all it really is a good bright sunny day.
I went to my sons for dinner yesterday had a lovely time seeing my three grandchildren who I have not seen for a year. i dont get on with his wife well she dont like me but she asked my son to ask me to dinner as her mother was coming and we get on well I loved going out for a change on a sunday as I dont go anywhere. I had a large bunch of Tulips and a lovely card so I felt quiet happy.
My foot and knee is playing me up I dont know what it is but I am not going to the doctors I have had it keep going back and forth I feel really bad at going there with my aches and pains.

Shelly dont know if you have seen it but on Topics thread someone has asked what to do about a Cemetary photography someone has sent her a forgotten
English cemetary photograph and she is asking what she can do about it as it is a shame to leave it like that. I dont know if it is a war graves one or not.

Morning Rita and Shelly and you others when you pop in later

Had a good day yesterday. Made some more evening invites, have to finish them today. Finished the baby cardigan so it is on its way !!! Did some ironing, though there is more of course. Family came in the evening. We had a nice take away. I was given a "best mum" mug a photo holder and some chocs from eldest daughter. Son and d i l gave me Nirvana spa stuff, really nice and cards from them all.

I have the dog(cocker spaniel) as dil had her foot op and is in plaster for the next 4 weeks and can't get around easily. So I have already been out for a walk and it is beautiful , dry sunny and warm. Spring might be on it's way

Hi everyone.

I don't think spring is on it's way here just yet, it's freezing today.

Hope it went OK today Liz.

Glad you were well enough to go to your son's Rita, it would have been a shame to miss it.

Linda, my little nieces got me some of that Nirvana spa stuff for Christmas, it's lovely.

Hope you enjoyed your meal out Mo.

You're dead right Shelly, that Marilyn will be all over the Captain trying to get her red varnished nails into him.

Hope Lady managed to cook her mother a lovely meal.

Hi everyone.
It's nice to read that you all had good days yesterday.
Liz, I hope everything went well with the therapist today. Poor old devil had to cycle today then did he,aw what a shame. The exercise will do him the power off good. The only thing is his having to ride home in the dark. I hope the roads are well lit,and that he has got lights on his bike. Just imagine if he got stopped by the police, for having no lights. Oh perish the thought, you would go through hell for making him cycle.
Rita, I am going to tell you off now,WILL YOU SIT DOWN AND REST THAT
FOOT AND KNEE. You are such a little gad about, doing things at a hundred miles an hour, for goodness sake, you make me feel tired reading all the things you get up to. I am glad you enjoyed your day with your grandchildren, and son. Notice I did not mention DIL
It sounds like you had a lovely day as well Linda. I can picture you taking the dog for walkies, with the baby in the buggy.
Pauline,I really enjoyed my meal out. The only problem was,you could not book a table. We got there at 3.10 p.m,and was told we could not get a table till 4.40,but we were lucky that the table became available just after 4.00p.m. But the meal was worth waiting for.

Hi all
Mo my DIL and I dont really get on well I get on far better with her mother.but surpise surprise she was kind to me she brought me a large bunch of Tulips and a card. we had a nice dinner and a chat I left there at 6. I was shocked she asked me . her mother was there so maybe that was why. still I must give her her due she was not nasty as she sometimes is. completely ignores me.

My foot is sore and very swollen I am wondering if it is my gout I have to watch what I eat. tomorrow I have the doctors for my Warfarin blood test. I wonder if anything will show up on that.
MY SON IN lAW IS STILL VERY ILL AFTER HIS CHEMO VERY SICK THEY SAID THEY WILL GIVE HIM SOME THING DIFFERENT NEXT TIME.

TAKE CARE.

Shelly, presents do not mean as much as receiving a lovely card, from your kids. At least you got cards. If you had more chocs, what would you have done, only eaten them, and then the pounds would pile on.lol
Oh Rita I am so sorry your SIL is not doing to well on his chemo. Lets pray that they can get something that suits him better.
Good luck at the doctors tommorrow.
Well done with the cooking Lady. I bet mum enjoyed it. It always tastes better when someone else cooks it for you.
Got to go girls, darts tonight. Fingers crossed for me.

Well I hope you won Mo, you have to keep up this winning streak.

The thing is Mo........ Shelly got 3 cards, but she's got 6 kids.

Never mind Shelly, they might not show it with cards and flowers but they all love you.

I love Red Setters, they're beautiful dogs but my favourite dogs are Golden Labradors, we had one when we were growing up.

Rita, if your SIL is anything like my sister, he's in for a hard time. The sickness and pains just starts to wear off when it's time for her to have her next chemo, and it all starts again. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. What you have to think of with your SIL is that when it's over he'll be well again, he has a light at the end of the tunnel.
