I made him an Amaricano which he likes.
It is quite cold here now and no sun at all today. Done all my ironing this morning so there is only the next lots of washing I have done to get ironed. I hav'nt been this up to date with it for ages and ages.
Think I may turn the heating back on for a while.
Mandy there always seems a never ending stream of rats at this time of year. at least you are keeping on top of them and it should'nt take long if they were that eager to take the bate.

Well who's been a busy boy then.. ME !!
Ros decided to clean the insides of the kitchen windows, so being a dutiful hus band I got the KARCHER window vacuum cleaner out and did the outsides. I also did the front lounge window, the porch and front door. As I still had loads of cleaning fluid in the bottle, I did inside and out of the Patio door that leads to the conservatory, and Five windows in the conservatory. I will do the rest tomorrow and the outside of the bedroom window.
I had the lighting block turn up this afternoon. What a job putting it together !!! I spent ages. I couldn't fathom how the light covers fitted, but finally it came to me. and got them on. I don't know if I will be able to fit it to the ceiling, so will ring Jonathon to see if he can do it at the weekend, if not I will have to get an electrician. I know I wouldn't be able to balance on the steps and hold the light fitting, while I screw it to the ceiling.
Thanks Ann, We have used TOBY many times and had bad experiences, I had more free meals there than I have paid for. :-D :-D :-D I don't think they would want to see my face again. "!!!!
CHEEKY RATS, taking the blocks before they have had time to settle. Lets hope they do the trick.
Gill That's good news with the feedback. lets hope something comes of it.
Mel, Tell OH to join the club ;-) ;-) I have done that. I have also made a cup of tea and instead of putting sugar in it, I have put coffee powder. HOW STUPID IS THAT ???
Ros has just made me a cuppa, so see you later.

Afternoon All
I'm all back to normal now.Maybe it was just one of these 24hr tummy bugs. Gill you sound like you have just what Sandra had before Xmas, with that nasty sore throat.A nice boiled egg should have hopefully slipped down without too much trouble. Hopefully you feel much better by the time you have the next viewing.
Mandy ,I am keeping fingers crossed that we might have got rid of our Rats now as the 2 Rat Stations still have the bait in.We haven't has to put any more in for a few days now.... I hope your neighbours don't catch one that has been eating the bait !!!!!!.....Fancy one grabbing the bait like that eek that would have put the wind up me i can tell you :-0 :-0
Had to laugh at the watery coffee Mel :-D :-D..I know I have made a pot of tea before ,,,but without the tea :-S :-S
Ann we get our vouchers from Groupo* and Amazo*Local..We use them for our lunches when new go into Northampton to the cinema.Sometimes it will be 30% of the food.I used to feel embarrassed handing over a voucher, but it is so common now and so many people have them .it makes sense to use them if you can save that amount.
I have emptied the car of all my belongings .I forgot all my CDs were in the glove compartment.I haven't played them for a few years.I wonder if there is a CD thing in the new car.Maybe not as there is this thing where you can put a memory stick with thousands of your own downloaded music .I think I will stick to the radio LOL Just like I did in this car even though I could have used a memory stick with music.I doubt I will even use the Hands free phone either.Chris and James will just roll their eyes and tell to get into this century :-D
Frank that is wonderful news for Ros.I bet she she was walking on air when she came home :-D :-D Now listen you ....don't even think about climbing on steps to try and fit those lights !!!!! I know what you are like......patience :-D until you can get someone in :-D :-D
I too think it is getting much colder .it was quite nippy first thing with really very thick fog here.I could only see part of the horses field opposite.Got the fire lit so I'm all toasty :-D

Don't you get chilblains sitting to close to the fire Young Lady !!! My mum was always telling my sisters off for doing that.
I have phoned Jonathon and he said he will put the light up at the weekend.
Walking down the pub to see the football, on one condition from Ros, that I ring her when I want to come home. She doesn't like me walking both ways. Ahhhh

Oh blimey Frank, I'd forgotten about your bad service there!! You won't want their vouchers!! lol. Ours is a bit hit and miss to be honest, unless the young management trainee is there.....he keeps everything and everybody moving.
Gill that prog sounds like one of the 'extreme couponing' progs. I have watched a few and have been amazed at the military organisation needed!! Yes I use the Sains*ury and Co*p shopping coupons you get with your till receipt. That's good you got some feedback on the viewings in the end. They should do it as a matter of course really though.
I don't think I've ever had chilblains.......used to wonder what people meant in the past. :-S

That was it Ann, "Extreme Couponing". What a crazy program with all the coupons in a folder The one I watched the other week, where she had to pay 72 cents, she was almost in tears because she got it wrong and had to pay something. She had 5 trollies, and thought she had worked it out so she wouldn't have to pay anything, the greedy girl. I've watched it a couple of times, it's one of those programs where you just have to watch it to the end, just to see if they get everything for free and sometimes they do. Have you seen how much stuff they get and their homes are more like shops.
I've just realised the time so I'm off to bed now Night Night

Morning all, Evening Kim,
I also wish you a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Mandy. Sweet SIXTY What treats have you had so far ??
Must tell you a story. I phoned my Nephew last night. He works part time as a Lorry Driver for Sainsbu#y. He heard a story regarding an ASIAN employee who worked in a store in Ilford. After six months service you get a discount card. Well in the first month he had DISCOUNT on his ACCOUNT of £12,500.00. It turned out he let every one he knew in Birmingham, Manchester and the East End of London to use the card and get the discount on his card. HE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE GOT SACKED !!!!
Dull sort of morning here again, not cold, but the sort of say you want to be out.
Gill I bet you will want 40 winks come lunchtime. lol
It's the BIG DAY for our Jane today A new brum brum Don't start tearing up and down the A 14 to try it out. :-D :-D

LOL Frank. No chance of racing on the A14 with all the road works !!!!!! I am actually picking the car up at 12.30 now instead of 2 as the Tree Surgeon has rung to say he can't get here today.I suppose there will just be enough petrol in it to get me to garage..I always think it should have a nice full tank when you pick it up.
Fancy that chap thinking he could get away with giving his discount card to everyone he knew ..What a Silly Billy he was.
It is a real old cloudy day.I feel almost like putting the lights on.I might go for a bit of a spin in my car and use some of the petrol .I think there is about 120 miles worth still in the tank!!

:-D :-D :-D to you Mel
Hope everything is O.K. with the new car. It was on a rare occasion that a customer got a FULL TANK of petrol. Often the profit margin after the deal didn't leave enough to do that.. WE always put four gallons in every car sold. which was fair to all. I might be more generous if it was a nice YOUNG LADY ;-) ;-) ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D ONLY JOKING HONEST :-P :-P ;-) ;-) ;-) <3 <3 <3 <3
There must be SIXTY birds of various sorts sitting in the cherry tree, so I had better sort out some more food. They seem to know where they are well off. !!!!
Is our new proud car owner home yet, or is she using up the TANK OF PETROL ??

<3 <3 <3 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANDY <3 <3 <3 Hope you are having a lovely day and the family are spoiling you.
I've had a busy week, looked after Harry and Chloe Sunday and then later that day they all came for dinner. Took me most of Monday to get straight again, and yesterday was one of my marathon ironing days.
I can just picture Jane zooming about in her new car.
Hope everyone is well and getting over all the coughs and sneezes.

Had two wonderful hours watch Nat. Geo. Things that you learn on these programmes is incredible . Did you know a HUMAN can swim through the vein of a BLUE WHALE.??? NOR DID I.!!!
It's been the dullest of days here, hasn't really got light today. Not sure what tomorrows going to be like, but I have to be at the Doctors by 9.50 am, so no laying in in the morning.
Busy little be Maureen. It will keep you out of mischief. :-D :-D
Football on again tonight, so I might ring Tony to see if "He is coming out to PLAY" and I can get a lift both ways.
Chicken curry tonight. Ros always likes to make it, as if it's too hot it plays her liken planes up in her mouth. I don't want to be blamed for that!!!
