Its taken me nearly an hour to get to the last page. I started going through the pages 10 at a time and then a few more at a time and then back to 10s again and when I looked at the year and dates it went from 2012 to 2011 and then 2010 so it was going backwards but the pages were still going up!! I eventually got to this page and am now posting again.
The Wren is very busy building the nest and its a terrible time water and I hav'nt got anything done yet! I just wish I could share it with you but it dos'nt work like that.

Good afternoon to you all,
Gill I would like to add my condolences to all your family for the loss of your BIL. It's such a relief when they pass on, and are no longer suffering Oh my, has that bought some memories back to me, regarding my Father. xxx
So a Christmas and New year honeymoon in India. How lovely is that. So very pleased for you all. Many happy years together for the young couple. <3 <3 <3 Is James going to be his Best Man ???
I gave up trying to get on here this morning no matter which way I went it still came back to the "ERROR PAGE"
We still have "BIGGLES" we thought they were coming back yesterday. I think they should have let us know what they were doing. We might have wanted to go out today. We lave having him, and he is no trouble at all. Eat, sleep, fusses and going into the garden. Sahara the girl who was suppose to have had him last year, came Saturday and Yesterday and gave him a good walk. But of course, she won't know they are not back, so he won't get a long walk today.
Ros is getting the last of the paper off, round the window frames. She had me in stitches when I went out there earlier. She was sitting on the window sill with her feet in the SINK and the mixer tap poking out from between her legs. I said I bet you haven't had a thrill like that in years. She said she didn't want one again. lol lol.
It is still to wet to cut the lawns, which is a shame as the Green Bin gets emptied tomorrow, and all the cuttings could have gone. Now they will have to sit in the bin for another two weeks. It's turned soooo cold outside. That wind is really cold. I have put the heating on, as Ros has the windows open in the kitchen, and the cold is coming into the lounge. I thought today was going to be sunny and warmer. I know the forecast is good for Thursday it should reach 27 degrees. I will believe it when I see it :-| :-| :-|
Simon was going to the Hospital on Friday. He has sweeping on one of his Testie's. He promised to let me know how he got on, but hasn't done so. I have rung this morning, but went to Answer Phone, so I expect they are both working, will try again this evening.
Liver and onions, peas and Mash for tonight. Nice and easy, when Ros comes in from the kitchen, I will go and do the onions and potato's.
Just about to start a new book by James Patterson. "POSTCARD KILLERS" I haven't read any of his books, so hoe i's going to be good.

Afternoon all
Had a bit of a bumpy start to the day, we were chatting with our neighbour so OH could let him know about his brother and as we were chatting a hearse went by, I put my arm through OH's to comfort him but ended up crying myself. I kept saying sorry to OH as I felt it should be me comforting him not the other way around. He was very good about it saying that his brother was like a little brother to me to, which is true. I'd known him since he was 16. I'm okay now after a good cry. OH is keeping himself busy cutting up the old kitchen doors so we can throw them away. He tends to want to be on his own in times like this, so I'll give him another half an hour then see if he'd like a cup of tea. Sandra is a lot better today, so that's good. We're not sure when the funeral is yet or even if he's being buried or cremated, he never discussed his wishes with OH, so we'll have to wait to hear off his widow.
I see you met BEN Jane, how lovely, I'd love to see the photo. Sandra was wondering if he was going to come back to Eastenders, so will be looking out for him now. So a winter wedding then a honeymoon in India, how nice. I'm pleased they liked the card, it was very pretty.
Pleased to see your BP has regulated now your meds have been changed Liz. That's something you don't have to worry about now. Have you decided what type of car you'd like yet?
Thanks Frank for your kind words, they mean so much to us, as does everyone else's. I see you have your emails sorted now and your switch, so everything's back to normal now? It sounds like Ros is still very busy in your kitchen, we tried to do a bit more on ours today but unfortunately I couldn't concentrate on all the measurements so we decided to leave it for today, save making a mistake.
How lovely to be able to see the Wren building the nest Mel. I told Sandra about it and she asked if you take a photo could she see it please?
OH has just come in so I'll go and see if he's okay. We are going to watch a bit of TV with Sandra before dinner. I hope this goes through okay as I kept getting the error page so it took me a while to get to the thread today.

Another marathon job getting on here this afternoon. When are they going to get SORTED ??
All the paper is off the walls, and cleaned up. A few more doors to paint by the cooker. Then the new paper will go up. I feel such a CHEAT not being able to do this decorating, and relying on Ros to do it. I know she loves decorating, but I am suppose to be the MAN of the house.
I was hoping to feel well enough to get the mower out this afternoon, but I keep feeling faint and shaking all the time. I really don't want to admit it, but I think I will have to make an appointment and see the doctor, to have a check up. I am getting regular pains in my chest also.
Forgot to mention earlier. I slept like a log last night. I was in bed before 11.00 pm and woke at 9.00 am with only one visit about 3.30 am !! I would have turned over but thought about a crossed legged dog in the lounge. He was so pleased when I let him out. lol lol Poor little thing :-0 :-0 :-0
Glad everyone is fit and well, and that the weather is improving so you can continue with the gardening. Liz, you are well ahead of me with planting. I'm still not sure if we will grow anything other than runners and tomato's this year. Both of us are feeling it's getting too much for us.
Ros has had me getting the loft ladder down as she needed some knitting needles from her box in the loft. What a JOB that is getting. I struggle to reach up and pull the ladder down, and putting it up and closing the trap is another story. lol lol. Anyway, she was able to reach her box of needles and get a pair she wanted out, and left the box up there.
It's getter better each day with lighter evenings,in fact the sun has just come out to play.

Good afternoon all
Gill, so sorry to hear about your BIL passing away and how upset your OH was after seeing the hearse but having a good cry sometimes can help a little
Liz glad you had good results for your BP, I have to take my own as having it taken at the surgery give incorrect results.
Jane your day in London sounds really lovely more Happy memories to remember in the future for Hannah & Gareth and a winter wedding and honeymoon in India to look forward to.
Are you still dog sitting Biggles Frank? Naughty of his owners not asking you if it was ok to have him a little longer.
My BIL who was born 3 years after Peter has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer after having a polyp removed not log ago he had a major heart operation in London he is the father of Sarah who has Downs syndrome and she has just gone back into hospital, have no further news as he is divorced from his first wife who lives just outside of Chester.
Colin my brother left today to lecture for ACE Cultural tours on a cruise on the Seine from Paris for nearly a week lovely if the weather is a good as it is here,
Over the weekend Richard and I have been having a good tidying up in the garden all we need now is to get a lot more plants, has anyone tried buying plug plants online? These will be for all the pots Paul can't take me to the Garden Centre this week as he is on call and Richard doesn't have a car although he has past his driving test when he was 18 , a minor accident [not his fault] just after he passed completely put him off. I will gat a few shrubs and rose bushes when he does take me.
I keep getting the Error message as well, I haven't had any bother getting onto the last posting I just click on post date.

Afternoon Everyone. This is the first time today I have had the laptop on ,and I got straight on here with no trouble !!!!! I am afraid I dont have the pic of me and Hannah with 'Ben Mitchel' I have gone and deleted it from my phone by mistake :-S. MInd you my face made me look as though I had had a stroke .I think I must have been talking out of the side of my mouth when the pic was taken.Hannah and Ben looked good though. What a pleasant young man he is.We must have been chatting with him for a good 10minutes. Mainly about Eastenders LOL He was saying that all the houses on Albert Square are not real . The frontage is but then once the doors are open it is studio !!. I think he will be back in the square at some time. Obviously he could say but that was the impression I got :-D
Gill,I expect OH will have a few tears on his own .Chris is the same and when he is upset or worried about something he will take himself off somewhere (like down the garden ).You shouldnt feel sorry about crying .It is just natural and best not to hold the tears in . I am sure you will have plenty more.
Crikey Frank, Ros must me a contortionist to be able to get up on the sill and have her feet in the sink with the taps between here legs !!!!. How the heck did she manage to get down?? I did laugh at you Cheap Thrill comment :-D :-D. I would be stuck for ever if I tried that lol I forget what kind of dog Biggles is. That is not good though of his owner not to let you know when they will be picking him up. He does sound a dear :-D
I have just had a call from some company about funerals !!! Siad it wasnt a sales pitch ,but I am sure it was.I didnt let him get that far.
Frank, James won't be best man .I think Gareth is having his best friend for that. But James will be an Usher and also Hannah wants him to be a witness (if a family member is allowed to do that) .I must google that . Hannah will have 2 Bridesmaids. Gareths Sister Rachel and Hannahs best friend Polly.
Liz, have you any idea as to what car you will change to? I expect you will still need one able to have a Horse Box? That was good results for your BP. You have done well with good results in the last week :-D
Mel I don't understand what you meant in your last post about water and not being able to share with us?? How lovely to be able to see the little Wren building the nest :-D Hope you will be able to get some good pics.
Well James has messaged to say he is on the way. That is early for a change. So I best get on and get dinner in.

O what a terrible time water it is! It should have been waster but I missed the s out. He's still at it, taking bits out and putting them inside and then adding more. I will download what pics I have taken as its so dark in there now as I think oh has closed the door, that I only have black and white on the screen now.
I picked myself a bunch of daffs out of the garden and went up the border for a couple with orange in the centers and broke off a few bits of dead from some of my plants. Its such a mess up there I need Gill down here to give me a hand.
I am now going to do the camera and send you some pictures.

I think Mel means a time waster Jane!! We're looking at getting a Suzuki Vitara. We don't particularly need anything to take a horse trailer as we don't take Merlin to shows anymore and if we did need to transport him, L would always come over with her horse lorry. We shall look round for a good second hand one about three years old. We have to watch the pennies a wee bit these days so a new one is out of the question!! We've just found a dead blackbird outside our bedroom window. She bashed herself against it!! :-( I do hope she hasn't got babies.

Oh Liz i hate it when I find a dead bird that has flown into the window. It's when I hear a thump that gets me. I then dread what I will find. Touch wood we havent had one for some time now. Sometimes they might just be stunned and recover if left. But most times I think it is a broken neck :-(
Dinner ready .

Oh the poor bird Liz. It makes me jump when birds fly into our living room window, it's a big window with no blinds so it happens quite often, luckily so far no birds have died, just been stunned and like Jane said after a while they fly off.
What a shame you accidently deleted the photo of you and Ben Jane.
Sandra said to say thank you Mel for the photo's of the Wren, she loved them. It must be lovely to be able to watch him build his nest like that. I had to point the Wren out to Sandra as she couldn't quite see him at first, but then she found him on the other photo's.
Just catching up with a few programmes before I run out of space on the planner then I think we might have an early night as we've got someone coming round tomorrow to build the gate. The original fella said he might be able to do it in a few weeks if he's in the area and OH thinks it might be longer. Because it desperately needs doing he asked a fella who was doing a fence down the road and he said he needs to finish off that fence in the morning then he'll come straight round to ours. He's a bit cheaper than the original fella too. The only thing I'm worried about is I've not seen his work, but then I hadn't seen the other fella's work before he did our last gate so I suppose I'll just have to trust he does a good job. He seems nice enough and OH said the fence he's doing down the road looks good, so hopefully it'll be okay. He and his dad work together so hopefully the gate will be done and finished tomorrow. I did explain it's a security gate and he assured us it would be done in one day. Hope he's right.
Well, I'd better get back to my programmes before I lose track of what's going on. See you all tomorrow. Night Night

Good morning all,
I was up at 5.30 am Last night I went in the bedroom to listen to the West Ham match on 5 live. That finished around 9.45, so I settled down in bed and went to sleep. Ros woke me at 5.00 am "WHISTLING" it was the way she was breathing, but very loud. So I went to the loo, and came into the lounge, it was starting to get light, so I made a COT and read my book.
It's a windy old morning out there, not that I have been out. !! At the moment it's dry. So I hope I can get my lawns cut today.
Jane BIGGLES is a SNOUCER. The most docile dog I have ever meet. He is so affectionate, without being all over you. He loves a TUMMY rub,and an ear rub. Anne came and picked him up around 5,30 pm. After they had got home and gone shopping at ASDA. :-| :-| :-| Cheeky bu@@ers.!!! She did bring Ros a nice bunch of Tulips and a box of bulbs to go in the garden, so that was nice.
Anne,we buy a lot of plug plants off the Net. Thompson and Morgan are very good also Jersey plants. Jersey plants are free P & P. so that helps also. Please be careful if you are buying any DRY ROOTED bushes etc. They don't seem to take very well.
I had my SIL on th phone last night in floods of tears, I couldn't understand a lot of what she was saying because of the sobs and crying.
I expect a call from Simon later, as I left a message on his phone last night, saying, wha a NAUGHTY BOY he was for not letting me know how he got on at the hospital.
Will speak to you again when you are all up and sorted. xxx

Morning all
Funny sort of day weather wise, not sure what it's going to do, there were a few light spots of rain in the air but now it looks like it's brightened up a bit.
I'd of helped you in your garden Mel if I lived closer. I find if you do a bit each day you'll be surprised how quickly it starts to look better, rather than trying to do lots in one go. It's less tiring to.
OH and I have been tidying up the garden, we've got a few Camellias and boy do they make a mess, so all the fallen flowers are now in the bin. We've moved the bins around the back out of the way of the fella who is coming to do our gate, so that's all tidy for him as I assume he'll be doing all the cutting of the wood down there.
Nothing else planned for today, went to bed very early last night and had a reasonable nights sleep although we were both up again at 7am. I might take another look at my family tree today as keeping busy helps take my mind of things for a while. We also need to watch a few more programmes to clear some of the planner, but that'll be later on when Sandra wakes up.
Sorry to hear about your BIL Anne, my mum had bowel cancer and after treatment got the all clear, hope it's the same result for him.
So you don't have Biggles anymore Frank, I bet you miss him? I hope everything is okay with your SIL, she sounded very upset. Hope all went well at the hospital for Simon. How is Ros getting on with the kitchen? We have put ours on hold for a few days as neither of us are really in the mood at the moment.
Going to get a cuppa now, I've been very thirsty over the last few weeks, I might have to see the doctor about it as I don't think it's normal. I'll see how I go this week, then make a decision what to do.
I didn't have to much trouble getting on here today, hope it stays that way.

I did'nt have any trouble getting on here this morning either. What a pleasure to be able to get straight in.
Not at all nice here today. Its wet and windy. The wind came up last evening and it was quite strong too but at least it was dry with it. Now this morning its wet with it!!!! not a lot but enough to mkae everything wet.
It would cos its shopping day.
Sorry to hear about your BIL Anne. I do hope they can do something for him as he has been through enough already by the sounds of it.
Well my back is ok while I stand up and walk around but if I sit for any length of time I find it hard to straighten up and walk. Once I am straight its ok.

Afternoon all, Home alone, as Ros has gone shopping with Carolyn.
Roa changed the sheets this morning and put the cotton ones on the bed. I hope she's not tempting fate. lol lol
The flannelette sheets and pillow cases are all washed and I have dried them in the T.D. She has also done a coloured wash, and that's all the the radiators , mainly my underpants and T shirts. I've folded the sheets, Ros will iron those, as and when.
I really would like to get the mower out, but I feel as weak as a kitten. I keep tottering as I walk around, in fact I have taken to using my stick, as I don't want to fall over. I am afraid the lawns will have to wait until I feel better, and its warmer.
Mel, I saw Victoria Wood on the T.V this morning. She lives in Cornwall and said what a terrible storm they had last night. I expect you are getting the tail end of it.
The wind here is soooooo cold, well it feels like it to me. So I am sitting with the heating on reading my book. It can do what it likes out here. I ain't going anywhere.
Had bacon eggs and fried mashed potato's for breakfast. Could't eat it all, which is so unlike me, as I do enjoy it normally.
A lot of banging and drilling going on. somewhere out the back. I suppose if you are working in this wind, you don't particularly feel it. !!!
Time for a coffee, and I will try to get a few zzzz, as I am starting to feel tired.

I saw the weather had improved and the sun was shining, so I thought I will just do my front lawn. Then of course, as I bought the mower down the drive and onto the patio. I looked at the back lawn and thought. S@d it, i'll get a bit of that done as well. That bit turned out to be the whole lawn. it was so long, it kept clogging up underneath the rotary blade. So every cut up and down I had to empty the grass box and clean round the housing underneath. So took longer than usual, I did have a chair, that I sat on every two cuts. I also had a can of 7 up from the fridge in the garage, which kept my mouth moist.
I had just come in and was in the bathroom washing my hands, when the doorbell went. Out I went and in the porch was a BIG BOX. I opened the front door and saw a guy getting into his van. He had tried the door when I didn't answer it, and put the box in the porch. I NEVER EVER leave the front door unlocked. I had plugged the mower into the socket in the porch, and when I had finished mowing, just unplugged the mower and went round the back. It just shows how easy it is to be robbed. Anyone could have come in while I was in the back garden. That will teach me to lock the door from the outside when I m going round the back.
Ros will not be happy that I have done the lawns while she was out. SMACKED LEGS for me I expect. ;-) ;-) ;-)
I will wait until she gets home before I have a shower, to be on the safe side. !!!

Afternoon All What wind!!!!! FRank I am surprised you managed to get the lawn done in this. Its quite fierce. At least all the washing will be dried(if it doesnt blow away)
Anne, hopefully they will have caught the Bowel Cancer early and that your BIL will make a full recovery. I know a couple of people who have had this and both are totally clear now. It will be a huge worry though for the family and with his daughter being diagnosed with Alzheimers too :-( I didn't realise that Richard didnt drive. What a shame he was put off all those years ago. Having Paul who does drive must be a big help though for you.
Gill, did the chap come round to do the Gate today? I'm sure he will do a good job for you and good to be a bit cheaper than the quote the other man gave you :-D.
Mel you and me are the other way around with our backs. I am ok when I am sitting down .It is standing and walking that does it for me. I went with my friend to the Forge Cafe down in Cranford this morning and had a delicious plate of Thick Toast, 2 poached eggs and a rasher of Bacon. Plus a good pot of tea. It is only a very small place and there were just 2 spare tables when we got there. Tomorrow morning I will have to be up and ready to be out by 8 !!. I am taking my neighbour 2 doors down to the hospital as she has to have the Camera examination up her btm. I will stay there with her as I dont think it will be worth me coming home and then going back again to pick her up. I will take my kindle with me. Her appointment is at 9. Then Fitz is here for lunch. I hope this blooming wind dies down before then otherwise there is no way we can sit out. I have everything I need for lunch ,so wont need to do any trips to Tesco.
Chris is back from Cambridge . He went to a Drawing Exhibition. I have a Chicken in bag that just goes straight in the oven tonight and am doing Greek Style Potatoes with Lemon,Garlic and Bay leaves. They are yummy. Veg stock with the lemon juice and dried Oregano is just poured over the potatoes and then popped in the oven. I will get the chicken in soon I think.
I watched the programme The Queens Gardens .It was really good. Did anyone else see it? Anne, your Brothers next 'tour' on the Seine sounds interesting. Lets hope the weather is good. This wind had Thomas all frisky earlier. He found a little fir cone on the lawn and was batting it and chasing it all over the place LOL . Then decided to chew it up :-D

Evening all,
It's been quite breezy here too today ,there was some nice sun shine but because of the wind it has been quite cool out .
Mel that's lovely to be able to see the wren building the nest ,next you'll be counting the eggs and watching them hatch :-D
Was it just the porch door you left unlocked Frank ,was the door into the bungalow locked ?or could he have got through to the rest of the bungalow ? anyone could have come in while you were in the back garden you'll have to remember next time to lock up.
We have put up our little green house today ,we've had to anchor it down well with this wind ,i'm going to plant some cucumber and tomato seed tomorrow ,i've never planted seed i usually buy the plants so we'll see how we get on with them .
Colin's sister is now settled in a home quite near to us at Swanton Morley so we'll be going to see her on Thursday ,when Colin's brother went he said she looks much better ,she was so tired when she was in hospital as they were doing her blood pressure at times all through the night waking her up so no wonder she was so tired .
My foot is not quite so black now ,it is still a little sore on the top of my foot ,goodness knows what i was that caused it to go so black.
Son has Diabetes he's been to see the Diabetic nurse today and now has tablets to take ,the side affects don't sound very pleasant ,she told him to start on one tablet a day for a week and then if he can take two tablets a day , side affects are terrible Diarrhoea ,stomach cramps and wind !!!
We've recorded The Queens Gardens Jane as i thought it looked good when it was advertised .
