Sorry to hear about Ros Frank ,lets hope the tests can be done quickly so you can have a few days down in Devon ,it's a shame the holiday had to be cancelled but better Ros is here if she has pain than all those miles away from home, try not to worry <3

So Ian has rung the bell and your Physio went well today Liz that's good news now you can go off together and enjoy your holiday .

I think we will have one more pick with our runners and that will be the lot ,they haven't been very good at all this year .

I'm off to Norwich tomorrow with DIL it's time to get the children stocked up with winter clothes plus it's Chelsea's birthday next Wednesday so i need to buy her a few bits and bobs .

It's been quite a nice day today ,we've had a little sun but i think tonight should be a cold night ,the nights are really pulling in now before you now it we'll be putting the clocks back.

We're watching 'Repair Shop'. We both really love this prog, it's amazing how clever the team are at repairing the most derelict articles making them look like new!!

She was my mum's cousin Jane but I've always called her aunty Dot. She was like a second mum to me and only lived around the corner so we visited her quite often. It's not going to be the same without her. It was a shock when mum told me as I didn't realise she was as ill as she was. Mum's not sure what she died of, she had a heart attack two weeks ago but she also suffered from diabetes and her blood sugar wasn't right either. Her brother was with her so she wasn't on her own. The sad thing is she had been looking forward all year to being a great grandmother, the baby was born the day before she died, but she only saw a photo of her new great grandchild. :-(

So you get your new freezer on Friday and stocking it up on Saturday. What a shame your beans and peas had gone over, at least you had quite a few before you went away. It sounds like you had a nice time away apart from the first bathroom but the second bathroom was great by the sounds of it.

I bet Ian is pleased all his treatment is over now Liz, now you have a nice holiday to look forward to. The biscuits sound just the job as a thank you presents. The staff will enjoy them. Pleased to see your physio went well too.

Sorry to hear you've had to cancel your Spain holiday Frank, nice of Jan to take you both to Devon when Ros's test are over. The break will do you both good.

Just made spag bol for dinner tonight with some nice garlic bread so there will be no good night kisses tonight.! :-0

I went for our scripts and forgot to take my bag with me. I had left it hanging on the back of a chair in the kitchen and I was going to show the girls in the shop my Fairy Pouches I made. Still there's always another day but I did take the other Moon Hare brooch I made and Emma the other girl bought it.

It was hot Mandy. Top temp was probably 29 in Paris and yes the fan was out :-D :-D I don't know what I would have done without it. Have I sent a pic of a man carrying his BIG dog across his shoulders? It was a very hot day and the dog looked an old boy.

Our Runners have not been great either this year.Lack of rain maybe? How old is Chelsea now?
Dinner late here . James is just on his way home. I think I will dish Chris's up first as he is starving. I will have mine with James.

No we did'nt get the big dog.

Ros had a good night last night. I have sat her down this morning and told her she has to do as she is told, until these tests are carried out. I know I won't do things as good as her, but they will get done eventually,

I see your G'Daughter has the same b'day as Ros, just a few years different in age lol lol.

Yes Ros did buy the bobble hat, I think she is getting some wooly gloves for a Christmas Present. He will be all set for the cold weather in the winter.

That was some DOG Jane, looked like one of those Mountain Breeds.

Gill it is strange how we call people AUNT and UNCLE, who aren't ;-) ;-) ;-) Something we all did as children.

Gawd knows when I am going to get this keyboard sorted out. It seems to be getting worse. Conrad was going to get it done while is SPAIN.

Morning Frank and all,

Bright and cloudy here this morning some blue sky inbetween the clouds so some sun occasionally but its also a bit chilly.

I hav'nt seen a hog for two nights now and am getting worried.

I always called people Aunty when they were'nt I think all the older generation did but the boys next door used to call me Aunty Mel but now they just call me Mel.

Shame you can't get your keyboard sorted out now Frank it must be so annoying but we all still understand your posts even if there are a few letters missing.

It must be nice now that Ian has finished his treatment and youcan now plan your days with what you want to do instead of having to go out at a particular time Liz. You can just muddle about and do everything you want to do.

So Chelsea's birthday and Ros's next Wednesday then. Another double birthday.

Simon and Sally come over this morning with a card and present for Ros and a lovely bunch of flowers. He absolutely loved his JUMPER. and guess what ? SALLY wants one exactly the same. I have tried to find the wool again, but can't. So I have sent an Email to the woman I bought it from, and just hope she is a shop owner, selling wool, and that she can get more or a similar one.

Lovely day here and quite warm. Madam has changed the bedding this morning, all washed. She wouldn't let me hang it out on the line, as I don't do it properly. !!! I knew there would be trouble. ;-) ;-) ;-)

I hav got the hob on cooking pork and leeks for a leek pie for tonight. the spuds are all done. Just have to put the pastry on the dish when it's cooked and cooled down.

Ros is at the rehearsal for the Choir Concert tonight. The concert is tomorrow evening. So I will have two evenings on my own.

Simon wanted to cut my lawns this morning, but I told I had Barry coming next week.

It's Tony's birthday today , so I took his card and present round this morning. Earlier Val knocked on the door, to say she was walking to the doctors, and would we keep an eye out, as she was expecting her son. Ros told her to get in the car and she would take her. It turned out she couldn't get through on the phone as it was engaged and she wants to make an appointment. She would never been able to walk there and back. When asked where Tony was, she said he's gone to TOWN. Stupid or what.

Its so annoying when you can't get the same wool Frank. I hope the lady that sent you it has some more so Ros can knit sally one.

No such luck Mel, The lady replied to say that due to ill health she has stopped selling. Ros however found some other wool that is perfect. I have ordered it, it's the same price as the one we got for Simon.

I have been sitting in th conservatory all afternoon, reading my book. I was so hot out there I had the door open.

Ros has just made a BLUE BOBBLE to go on Simons hat. The other one was grey.

Starting to cloud over now, so we might get some wet stuff.

Must remember to record madams Soaps, for her to watch tonight, when I am in bed.

Oh my poor feet and purse !!!! :-D all shopped out but i got what i wanted for Chelsea's birthday ,she will be eleven Jane ,growing up but still the naughty one of the family .

Glad you got the wool sorted in the end for Ros Frank it will keep her busy for a while ,the jumpers and hats sound just the job to keep them warm on the narrow boat .

Jane that dog photo was brilliant ,what a thick coat he had i bet the poor thing feels the heat and lovely that the chap keeps his paws off the hot pavements .

Hope the hogs soon appear Mel ,seems strange they haven't been for their food .

What a lovely warm day it's been ,i sat outside this afternoon and had to pull the canopy across because the sun was so hot and bright ,looks like next week should be warming up again here too.

Its been quite anice day here too. Plenty of sunshine this afternoon.

What did you get Chelsea for her birthday Mandy? You managed to get al their school clothes then.

Grey skies today out the front but we have had some sunshine out the back. The front faces north and the back of the house south. Whats the weather like at yours?

Had a strange dream about Frank last night and Ros. They were here in the village and were both nothing like I knew them to be. They came into the shop in the village and they were both very very tall.

I keep thinking its Saturday today!! and I know its not.

And now its grey back and front and its raining................................. :-|
