When I came into the kitchen this morning I looked out the window to ee what I thought was a weazle running from the long box hedge across the lawn and back to the hedge. It did this four times and then went up the top wall and back out again under the fig tree and then went up the top arch into the top garden. Oh said it was more like a baby stoat, death on legs........

I'm so sorry to hear about Ros Frank, wishing her a speedy recovery.

My laptop has just crashed when I was just about to send a post so I'm going to keep this short, hopefully I'll be able to send it. I've had quite a few problems with my laptop recently and never know if it's going to stay on or not.

Thanks Jane for your kind words, I did cry quite a lot but feel better for it.

I spent yesterday finishing off a new patio so that's now done. We were going to put another shed there but now I'm thinking of making it into a seating area with some pot plants. I put an 8 foot bamboo I had in a pot there and it looks good.

I'm wondering how my cousins are in Jacksonville with Hurricane Florence, I hope they made it out okay. They are the children of my late aunty (dad's sister) we haven't been in touch for a few years but it doesn't stop me worrying about them.

Going to watch the F1 now, see you all later if my laptop allows me.

Just an update. Ros is expecting to be transferred to Kettering in the next hour or so, then she will have the procedure carried out. She will be staying there overnight, not sure if she will be kept there or not. Will know more when we go over this evening. The hospital has confirmed it was a HEART ATTACH.

What is meant by Death on Legs Mel, ?? The it kills or will be killed by OH. ??

Thanks for the update on Ros Frank i have been thinking of her and you <3 she's going to the best place then for her treatment .
So was she shopping with Martine when it happened as you said Martine is bringing the car back ?
You take care of yourself and make sure you eat some thing <3

Colin is watching the race ,no i just glanced over and he's looking at the back of his eye lids :-D now dare i turn over ;-) :-D

Still busy in the garden then Gill ,i love the sound of those Bamboo's when the wind blows them .

Lovely day here clear blue sky and lots of sun shine ,i have the bedroom curtains blowing on the line ,i did the lounge curtains the other day it does say dry clean on them but they wash up lovely so i chanced the bedroom ones too .

Death on legs means they will kill anything they come across. They are one of the worst thing for wildlife.

I hav'nt seen a hog in the garden now for four nights maybe five.

Suns out here now and its quite warm.

Watching the race and I think oh maybe doing the same as Colin and watching the back of his eyelids as he is in the bedroom.

Still no news, Harvey spent 15 minutes waiting to be put through to the Cardiac department, where Ros is. NO ONE answered the phone. So we are no closer than we were this morning.

Yes th girls were in Morrisons, when she had the heart attach. Martine just left everything and got her to hospital . When she bought the car back this morning, like a fool I went to get the shopping in, only to find EMPTY BAGS.

I am out of bread, very low on milk,and veg. Not that I have needed any as I haven't eaten.

Sally being a trained Paramedic knows the procedure Ros will have to go through with he ANGIAGRAM She thinks if . STOP PRESS. She just phoned she's had it done and had FOUR STENTS FITTED, Harvey will come and pick m up and we will visit for a little while.

I have had a right old job wit the lap top today.I think it is just the internet palying up really.

Good News Frank.Wow 4 stents!. I had a feeling she may have to have stents . All done now and she will be able to recover gently. I expect she wont have to be in for too long now hospital for very long now.Maybe back to Northampton tomorrow?

You will feel much happier later when you get to see her :-DI am sure she will be absolutely fine now the 'problem' has been fixed. Love to the both of you <3.

O great news Frank. Four stents is one less than oh has had. He has been fine since. Thats was a fews years ago now.

She will have to take it easy for a while and not lift anything heavy while they bed themselves in. Its not a nice procedure though as your awake while they put them in place.

Sorry I missed your call this morning Frank. I hope you had a good visit this evening and found Ros well again.No doubt she will be very tired after all that has gone on .Maybe tonight you will be able to have a good sleep knowing all is fine and Ros is on the mend.

I suddenly came over really tired just now so have come up to bed ready to watch Bodyguard at 9(if I am still awake) . Night Night all.

Just back from Kettering. My What a beautiful hospital it is. She is in CCU The nurses ar in and out constantly checking the monitors and that everything is O.K.

Just going to have a beer or two then BED. See you in the morning xxx

Pleased to hear the procedure went well for Ros Frank, she'll need to take it easy when she comes home. You will feel better now knowing the nurses are keeping a close eye on her. I hope you are feeling a little calmer now you know she's going to be okay, it must of been quite a shock for you. Try and get some sleep, the rest will do you good. You must try to eat something though, otherwise you'll end up ill. Little and often with food would be good if your appetite isn't very good at the moment. I'm thinking of you both <3

I'm the same as you Mandy, although my curtains say dry clean I find they come up lovely in the washing machine, I do put them on a cool wash though so they don't shrink. Thanks for your kind words about my cousin's I'm sure they'll be okay and got out of Jacksonville before the hurricane happened.

Did you turn the TV over in the end? I do find it funny when you say he's watching the inside of his eye lids. :-) OH and I watched the race and was pleased Lewis Hamilton won, we got a bit excited when Max came out of the pit lane in front of Vettel, it made Vettel come third so there are more points between him and Lewis now, which we are both very pleased about. We'd love to see Lewis win the championship again.

Good morning all,

Restless sleep last night. up before 6.00 am Been on line and done a TESCO order. I know I have ordered more than Ros would, but it will get eaten.

Julia's brother who lives close by us (couple of villages away) has offered to take and collect me from Kettering hospital for visiting, and also to bring Ros from Hospital when she's discharged.So that could be helpful.

Harvey was able to connect to Conrad and Jan in Spain on his Telephone, so that thy could she was alright and they had a good chat.

I haven't spoken to Ros this morning, I will leave it, so the nurses can get their jobs out of the way.

Raining here this morning that horrid fine stuff that manages to get everywhere. Oh is out doing the pond filters and I am sitting here in the corner of the kitchen talking to you lot.

Hope Ros had a good nights sleep. Let us know how she is once you have rung later please Frank.

When I got up this morning I could see this big thing flying about up on the bedroom ceiling. Put my glasses on to take a look and it was a daddie long legs. It looked just like a big moth without my glasses. I must get in there and hoover up the cobwebs as we have the window open at night and all the spiders come in. I did the kitchen yesterday and missed under a cupboard. Last night I walked past and the fly catcher was on and there under the cupboard was a DLL stuck in one of the leggy spiders webs. The spider was doing one of its dances of joy shaking back and forth and winding up the DLL legs. I must get that one today.

Spoke to Ros. earlier, she sounded quite cheerful. She asked the nurse when she might be discharged. She said they would know more, when the doctor did his rounds. So I am waiting on that call.

These blooming spiders are everywhere, the cloak cupboard seems to be their BREEDING PLACE. We are always hoovering them up.

Ros said this morning at 6,00 am the nurse pricked her finger to get a spot of blood. She was soon back with a sweet tea and two slices of cake. Her bloods were low. It's the first time she had ever had cake at that time of day lol lol.


Roger called over this morning with Ros's B'day card. He has also offered to collect Ros from hospital.

Who is Roger Frank?

Cake was a funny thing to give Ros so early in the morning! It sounds like she neede to get some sugar inside her.

Hi Mel, Roger is an old friend, who's wife Susan has Cancer. I have mentioned them before. Ros worked with Susan many years ago. In fact, we introduced them when they were both single (DIVORCED) They have been married many years now.

Still no news from Ros, I don't like to ring in case she is resting. I will ring her later if I don't hear from her.

Harvey very kindly made and bought up Ham and salad sandwiches for both Ros and I. I had mine with a coffee for lunch. I think Ros had half of hers last night when we left.

Just learnt that there were THREE breakins, in the close round the corner. Also Number plates stolen from a car in the next street. Must make sure doors and windows are locked at all times. Our car is alarmed, so if tampered with, I hope the alarm will go off. There are some scallywags around, so will keep my eyes peeled.

Yes Frank rain gone now and we have some sunshine, blue sky with big white clouds.

I am just going to attack the ironing pile.

SHE'S COMING HOME. Once the doctor has signed her off, and the medication has been given to her. she will ring me. I have spoken to Sue and Roger will come and collect me when I ring.

I had better get tidied up, ready for her. It will be so nice having her home. xx
